Default Leon kicked out by Mum

Quote:
LEON KICKED OUT BY MUM
Leon Jackson was thrown out of his home just days before his first X Factor audition after being branded a “waster” by his mum Wendy.

Loveable Leon is set to become a major star after beating favourite Rhydian Roberts, 24, in last week’s controversial final.

The shy 18-year-old stole the hearts of millions of ITV1 viewers when he broke down in tears after admitting he had turned up to his Glasgow audition on his own.

And the Daily Star Sunday can now reveal the real reason behind Leon’s tears.

According to his close friend Gavin Murray, Leon was kicked out of his modest two-bedroom home in Whitburn, West Lothian, for wanting to pursue a singing career.

The 45-year-old builder said: “Leon had a blazing row with his mum in March just before he auditioned for the X Factor.

“He was singing in the karaoke bar most nights and she said he was going nowhere and kicked him out after calling him a waster.

“He arrived at our house one evening looking really down.

“He had gone to stay with a mate for a few days but the night before had slept in a car. He was hungry so we gave him tea.

“He was so grateful but that’s Leon all over. He is one of the most polite, well-mannered young men you’re ever likely to meet.”

Just days later, Leon won over judges Dannii Minogue, Simon Cowell, and co.

Gavin added: “The thought that he’s done it for his mum has brought a tear to our eyes.

“And it’s great for everyone to see he has made up with his mum and made her so proud.”

I always wonder if the Daily Star have any shame or if there's a tiny tiny tiny element of truth to them. Like maybe Leon slept in a car one time in his life, or something.

No, they don't have any shame. The words "Daily Star" and "truth" only go together in the same sentence if that sentence is "The Daily Star don't tell the truth"

hmmm i don't really think leon's mum would do that really. during the whole show it seemed she was really supportive and at the auditions he rang his mum to tell her she was through and she was estatic. but as you said its the daily star.
