Totally agreed with this, plus there's also the fact that this sort of set-up won't shield them from the pressure of over-night fame either, I mean until they're revealed to the public a week before the show goes out they're nobodies, meaning they'd still effectively be thrown into the deep-end regardless of which direction they take.
