...I also think it’s because some of the general public feel an unhealthy ownership of the Royal family....WE PAY FOR ThEM/WE OWN ThEM/DID WE SAY HE CoULD MARRY HER.....etc, type thing...

what surprises me more than anything is that a couple of has been royals still command any attention at all, good or bad

...it’s cool and dandy to think something is hogwash as well, we don’t need to justify or find reasons for that...although we usually look at our reasoning, it’s helpful.....
