is every episode of big brother but there is some episodes missing as i couldnt find them all here they are so come on and relive ure fave moments:
Season 1 1. Episode 101: The Houseguests Arrive 10 average people - Andrew, Anna, Caroline, Craig, Darren, Melanie, Nichola, Nicholas, Sada and Thomas - enter the Big Brother house, a space-aged bungalow filled with cameras and microphones to record their every move and sound. During their first few days in the house, the new housemates get to know each other, Anna reveals she is a lesbain, Mel and Andy get cosy, the group are set their first food challenge - a pottery contest - and Nichola uses the clay to decorate the house walls with images of her naked body. The antics of 'Nasty Nick' are making him very unpopular with the viewing public, but his housemates dont seem to have spotted it and he still recieves no nominations. But, yet again, Caroline is upsetting people left right and centre and faces eviction for a second time. Episode 114: Andrew Evicted Caroline continued her popularity run with the public when she survived eviction in Week 3. Her popularity came at a cost for fellow nominee Andrew. His Big Brother experience was over after 3 weeks. His loutish and laddish behaviour had proved a turn-off for the viewing public and he was voted out with a 68% share of the 1.2 million votes counted that week. At first he walked out calm and collectedly but his walk soon turned into a run when he saw his friends and family on the horizon. He was greeted by a slightly moody crowed, but recieved more and more cheers as he approahced the studio. His chat with Davina gtave him a shock - the double dealings of his beft friend in the house - Nicholas. b: 03-Aug-2000 NOTE: Andrew was the second person to be evicted from the Big Brother house in Season 1. He got 68% of the total votes cast He was up against Caroline, who had survived eviction the week prior and who was eventually evicted the following week. Andrew is currently travelling the world. A total of 1.2 Million votes were cast In Week 3. Andrew has a 62% share of the total votes cast. Episode 116 Its the third round of Nominations and its clear that things are starting to get personal. Yet again, Caroline is up for eviction. Thomas has been getting close to eviction the past two weeks and now he finally notches up enough votes to go head-to-head with dab-hand Caggy. Nichola and Craig are gettign ever closer to enough Nominations to mean possible eviction. Darren seems to have gathered less votes that usual this week. b: 08-Aug-2000 NOTE: Who Nominates Who? Episode 120: Caroline Evicted Caroline, who has escape eviction two weeks before this, Week 4, finally got her marching orders from the public. She was cleary dissapointed when the news was first announced, but soon jumped around happily when her family and friends could be heard from the link to the studio. Not suprisingly considering her track record, Caroline was adored by the crowed outside. The cheers were loud, posters were waving and Caggy lapped it up! Just like Andrew before her, Caroline was shocked about the news of how fellow contestant Nicholas had done whatever he saw fit to escape nomination. When the evidence was presented to her she just said "That guy used to follow me everywhere. He was talking about moving in with some of us" Before she was whisked away by Davina she added "He was obviously just working us" b: 11-Aug-2000 NOTE: Caroline had survived eviction twice in a row before her eviciton in Week 4. Caroline had a 62% share of the 1.5 Million votes cast. Caroline had planned to release a Christmas single and Album but her plans were ruined when her Record label dumped her. Her last television appearnce was in 2001 on a Sky & Cable channel named 'Challenge?'She was guest appering on thier show "Physic Challenge" A total of 1.5 Million votes were cast in Week 4. Caroline had a 62% share of the votes. She was up against Thomas, who survived the eviction vote. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 21. Episode 122 Another week and another round of increasingly volitle nominations! This week starts normally but events on Thursday (See Guide to Episode "Nick Evicted") were to change the course of Big Brother 2000 forever. But, the housemates werent aware of his scheming, and Nick continued his perfect run without getting any nominations. After weeks of one or two votes away from Nomination, both Nichola and Craig face eviction on Firday. b: 15-Aug-2000 NOTE: Who Nominates Who? Episode 123 Another daily update on how the contestants of Big Brother care getting along. The housemates continue with the "Cycling Challenge" weekly task. Thomas tells Craig about Nick's Scheming. b: 16-Aug-2000 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 24. Episode 124: Nick Ejected The nation had been watching eagerly for five weeks to see who Nick would be backstabbing next, who was next on his hit-list and ultimately how long it would take to backfire on him, as week 5 approached people were starting to wonder if his lies and deception would ever cath up with him. We shouldnt have doubted that. On the evening of Wedsensday 16th 2000, Craig was approached by Tom and told that Nicholas had been telling the group that Craig was the traitor. Darren was outraged that Nick could abuse the rules to use pens and paper in the house. He searched through his Nicks case. both agreed that they should wait until the morning to approach Nick. As the morning of Thursday 17th August came, the group had a meeting confronting Nicholas. Viewing figuresd for the website were up 68% and reached the highest they would ever be for the series. As the full extenet of Nick's rule breaking was revealed Channel 4 executives were already planning an extra hour-long show to cover the incredible events of the day. After the events of the morning were relayed to all the viewers, an exlusive interview with Davina was aired. He spoke frankly about what he did and how he would play the game again if he could. He also refuted claims that he was a plant by Channel 4. Then added "No, I was a plant for Channel 5 (laughs)" b: 17-Aug-2000 NOTE: Nick was ejected from the house for rule breaking. Big Brother decided that his attempts to change Nominations were an "Extreme Case" and therfore should be treated with the ultimate penatly. Nicholas was ejected in Week 5 for severe rule breaking. Big Brother decided he should be evicted because of his attempts at influincing his fellow contestants nominations. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 25. Episode 125 Another daily update on how the contestants of Big Brother care getting along. The housemates try to cope with the loss of Nick, and Craig & Nichola also have the eviction vote to worry about! b: 18-Aug-2000 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 26. Episode 126: Nichola Evicted Nichola's Eviction was somewhat shadowed by the incredible events surrounding Nicholas the day before. On the Wednesday and Thursday, viewers votes dried up because nobody knew if the eviction was still taking place, even the Big Brother and Channel 4 executives. Eventually, they decide that they should go ahead with the eviction and the phone line numbers were publicised again. Craig's confrontation had proven his saviour, he had more votes than Nichola until the Thursday, but after Nichola recieved more. Fittingly, Nichola was drunk by the time she left. A disorrientated and very excited Nichola walked to the studio for an interview with Davina. b: 18-Aug-2000 NOTE: A total of 1.6 Million votes were cast in Week 5. Nichola had a 72% share of the votes. Nichola is currently studting modern art at college. She released a single entitled the "The Game" which didnt reach the Top 40. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 27. Episode 127 Big Brother rules state that if somebody leaves by choice or is expelled for any reason, another housemate must be brought in to replace them. Nicholas was expelled and this episode takes a detailed look at the new contestant sent in to replace him - Claire, and her first few days in the house. Big Brother experts take a detailed look at waht the other housemates first imporessions of Claire are - thorugh thier body langauge. They may say they like her but most are giving out signs without knowing it that tell us the exact opposite. b: 21-Aug-2000 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 28. Episode 129 Its week 6 and the nomination process continues. This week, however things are very different. Maybe its the arrival of Claire, maybe its Nick's Depature. Whatever the reason, The housemates seem confused and its reflected in thier Nominations. Unusually, 4 people are up for eviction. Anna, Craig, Darren and Thomas all face eviction on Friday. b: 23-Aug-2000 NOTE: Who Nominates Who? Anna:Craig & Thomas; Craig:Anna & Darren; Darren:Melanie & Thomas; Melanie:Craig & Darren; Thomas:Anna & Darren. REMEMBER: Claire cannot make Nominations this week. She arrived on Saturday and Big Brother rules state that late-comers cannot nominate or be nominated until after thier first week! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 30. The contestants continue with the "Memorise 100 Heads" task. b: 24-Aug-2000 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 31. Episode 131 Another daily update on how the contestants of Big Brother are getting along. Thomas, Anna, Darren & Craig all prepare for the Eviction results. b: 25-Aug-2000 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 32. Episode 132: Thomas Evicted It was second time unlucky for Thomas who had survived eviction in Week 4 but didnt live another day on Week 6. Unusually, he was up against THREE other contestants Anna, Darren & Craig. After emotional goodbyes, Tom made his way down the now infamous gridded floor and out of the Big Brother house. He was greeted by an army of fans and posters, aswell as the open arms of Davina and his family. In the studio he was suprised when ex-housemate Andrew walked in to gibe him his blessings. b: 25-Aug-2000 NOTE: A total of 1.7 million votews were cast.Thomas had a 60% share of the votes. Darren was close to eviction, behind by only a few thousand votes with 59%. Thomas has married fellow housemate Claire and they have had thier first baby together thyis year. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 33. Episode 135 Its getting even tougher now that the housemates left are so close to the end, but its business as usual and the Nominations coninue. However, there is a huge mix-up. Darren shouts his nominations particually loud and everyone waiting in the living area hears it. He votes for Craig & Mel and they know it. After Mel cries, Darren pleaeds with Big Brother to have a second-run of nominations, relutantly, BB agrees. He changes his vote from Mel to Claire, Craig remains his choice. Had he stuck with his original choices it would be Claire, Mel & Craig up for eviction. As it strands, it just Craig & Claire b: 29-Aug-2000 NOTE: Who Nominates who? Episode 138: Claire Evicted She had only been in the house for 13 days, but Claire's short stay brought fun for the housemates. But now, at the end of Week 7, she must leave. She ran down the gridded floor to meet with Davina and Friends and Family. And, a very posotive crowed who chanted her name as she walked in the studio to mass applause and hugs! In her Interview with Davina, Claire revealed how her hostility towards Melanie wasnt her doing, how her favourite was Craig and how she thought Anna & Darren were both very genuine. Melanie, she wasnt so sure about. b: 01-Sep-2000 NOTE: A total of 1.4 Million votes were cast in Week Eight. Claire had an 80% share of the votes. Claire is getting married to fellow housemate Thomas and the couple have had thier first baby this year. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 39. Episode 139 Another daily update on the how the Big Brother contestants are getting along. Episode 141 Its Week 8 and the final round of Nominations. There are just four contestants remaning and just two weeks of Big Brother left, but who will be the final Nominees? predictbly, Anna & Melanie vote identically. Craig and Darren, However vote differently. The result is suprising - Mel is facing eviction for the first time. Old veterains of the Eviction game, Darren & Craig are also up for eviction on Friday. Anna is gauranteed a place in the final because she only recieved one nomination in total. b: 06-Sep-2000 NOTE: Who Nominates Who? Episode 143 Another daily update on the how the Big Brother contestants are getting along. Melanie, Darren & Craig all prepare for news on how the publioc have voted on the final eviction. Episode 144: Melanie Evicted It was the first time flirtatious Melanie had been up for eviction, and just 7 days before the finale she so desperatley wanted to reach came around, she was choosen to leave. A teary, yet vibrant Mel left the Big Brother house live on Channel 4 to cheers from her family and from Davina, aswell as the now frantic british press. The cheers didnt last, a moody crowed booed her all the way to the studio and she was clearly upset, but refused to let it ruin her time in the limelight and posed for the press confidently. In a frank interview with Davina, Melanie revealed how she really felt about Claire, and how exactly she intends to follow up on the romances she had with Tom and Andrew. b: 08-Sep-2000 NOTE: A total of 2.1 Million votes were cast in Week 8. Melanie recieved 78% of them. Melanie is currently working on her E4 Show "Chained". -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 45. Episode 145 Another daily update on the how the Big Brother contestants are getting along. The Big Brother physcologists take a detailed look on the housemates' behaviour. b: 11-Sep-2000 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 46. Episode 146 Another daily update on the how the Big Brother contestants are getting along. Episode 149: Countdown to the Finale With just two and a half hours to go before the winner is announced, we see the final day in the house, including the final night Spanish party Anna, Craig and Darren shared, and their views on being a Big Brother winner. Then, live on Channel 4, Davina McCall announced that Darren Ramsey was the eighth evictee. He left the house 60 seconds later, and joined Davina in the studio, where he was emotionally reunited with his children and spoke about his time in the house, but refused to comment on who he thought would win. b: 15-Sep-2000 NOTE: At the time of Darrens Eviction, 5.9 Million votes had been cast. He had an 18% share of the votes. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 50. Episode 150: The Finale gs: Sada Walkington (Herself) Caroline O'Shea (Herself) Nicholas Bateman (Himself) Nichola Holt (Herself) Andrew Davidson (Himself) Thomas McDermot (Himself) Claire Strutton (Herself) Melanie Hill (II) (Herself) It's the end of Big Brother, and only Anna and Darren remain. Davina McCall reunites the eight previous evictees, from Sada to Darren, and after we get input from both Craig and Anna's friends and family in the studio and back home, she announces that the winner of Big Brother is...Craig! Anna leaves the house immediately and joins Davina in the studio, where she learns of her celebrity fans and speaks about her time in the house. Then, Davina actually enters the house for a guided tour and an interview with Craig, where he speaks about what winning means to him. Then, he leaves the house, and is presented with the Ł70,000 check by none other than Nicholas! Big Brother comes to a close with all 11 houseguests being reunited on the stage. b: 15-Sep-2000 NOTE: By the time the voting lines had closed on Big Brother 1, a huge 7.7 Million votes had been cast for the finale, making it the biggest Televisual Vote EVER! Anna had a 40% share of the votes, just behind the winner Craig who had 42% of the votes. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Season 2 52. Episode 201: The New Arrivals 10 new houseguests move in to the Big Brother house. We are introduced to Amma, Brian, Bubble, Paul, Helen, Narinder, Dean, Elisabeth, Penny and Stuart through a series of biography clips and we then see them enter the house, in small groups. During their first day together, Penny and Elisabeth compete for the mom role, Brian admits that he is gay and the houseguests get a surprise when they find a den in the backyard. ~A National Obsession Begins!~ Big Brother 2 launched a first for Big Brother UK history, Live Streaming! Although it had been launched for Big Brother 2000 via the Internet, Live Streaming was to prove a real hit when it began on the Channel 4 digital station E4. Viewers could even have an Interactive serive which would enable them to read news from the house, select a choice of 2 different live feeds and highlights and also to vote to evict a housemate. b: 26-May-2001 NOTE: The show is now sponsered by BTCellnet -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 53. Davina McCall speaks to friends and family of the houseguests and shows some clips from the last day in the house. After features and interviews, Davina makes a crucial announcement - she reveals who has the least votes of the remaning three and who has finished third. In his interview with Davina he speaks about his time in the house and how he feels about getting so far but not winning. Episode 363 As eviction looms, nominated housemates PJ and Kate prepare a meal for thier fellow contestants which proves a big success. Episode 364 - PJ Evicted He may have been a liked and respected member of the house in the opinions of the housemates he shared his time with, but PJ was most definatley not a hit with the public. A delighted Kate was safe for another week, and PJ would have to face the world, a new celebrity. On his exit, he recieved a good reception from the audience and press. His interview with Davina proved a hit, and in it he spoke openly about his time in the house, his thoughts and his opinions. But most importantly, he was coy when asked about the infamous late-night 'action' with Jade, did she give PJ a BJ? Episode 365 - The Task In the penultimate task, the contestants are a mess and fail to win. Episode 366 The housemates shopping arrives, and since they failed thier task - it's less than impressive. Episode 367 It's the final time they will be expected to do so, but the housemates must make thier nominations for the week once again. But, hated by the public as he was, he couldn't survive the first public vote he was put in and was booted out. On his exit, the audience were less than welcoming. An ever arogant Tim makes confident gestures and wills the audience to continue thier booing. Inside the studio, his revealing interview with Davina lays to rest several of his more shocking and intriguing moments. After survivng the eviction vote on numerous occasions, his game was finally up. In third place, the original favourite to win, did well to surpass arguments, scandals, rumours and bitching to last the full 64 days. A hyped up audience and press awaited him too. Ray and Federico disagree with the way in which a man should treat a woman, after Federico reveals he would have meaningless sex. Episode 422 - Sissy Evicted gs: Anouska Golebiewski (Herself) Justine Sellman (Herself) In the most talked about eviction of Big Brother 4 so far, three of the housemates were up for the boot. Federico, Jon and Sissy all awaited the result of the third public vote to discover who would be the next to leave. In the first of the evening's shows, Davina spoke to friends and family of all three nominees and discussed events in the house with them. Ex-Contestants Justine (Evicted Week 2) and Anouska (Evicted Week 1) were on hand to provide exclusive insight to how the contestants would be feeling and make predictions of who will go. Anosuka thinks that it will be Sissy who is evicted and Justine predicts Federico. Back in the studio, Davina introduces a compliation of Day 21's highlights. It features Nush and Tania discussing a problem they have with Sissy, after she asked to use one the two remaining gas canister's to use for a hair straightner on her eviction but Nush and Tania wonder what they will do on thier eviction night. When the announcement comes, its Sissy who the public have decided to leave. The girls all retreat to thier bedroom to help her prepare, as is fast becoming a tradition of thiers and support the third girl to leave in three weeks. In the second show of the night, Sissy's actual eviction, she is given one minute to leave. When she does so she is greeted by the traditional 1,000 strong audience and recieves a great reception. Her interview, true to form, is frank and honest and she discusses the girls that she calls "snakes" who nominated her and brands ex-housemate Tania "two-faced". She tells Davina that Nush is "A lovely girl with a heart of gold" and in response to Federico's sexist remarks she comments "He is just a young lad with lots of testorone". Quick reactions from the audience at the end of the show reveal that Federico appears to be a hot favourite for the fourth evicted contestant. b: 13-Jun-2003 NOTE: 45% of the 897,852 votes wanted Sissy out this week. Episode 423 - The Live Task Watch as the housemates take on a task set by Big Brother, live to the nation. Its the third weekly challenge and a night in the reward room is up for grabs once more. The housemates are set a game shurades for tonights task, but there are several rules to play by. One housemate must be choosen as the 'guesser' and this person cannot win the task, whatever they do in the test its impossible for them to win. Jon takes up this role. All housemates collect the title of thier song / movie or TV series from Big Brother and must play the standard game rules out, if Jon guesses thier title correctly they win the task. The housemates have 6 minutes to complete the task. Federico is up first but he wastes almost a whole minute when there is mix-up with the envelopes, he didnt leavehis card in the diary room before leaving. Several housemates win the task and they are Nush, Federico, Steph, Ray and Tania. After they win thier is a further twist in the game. One housemate must perform a final shurdade and the first losing housemate to guess it correctly wins an evening in the secret room, however, if nobody guesses it within 1 minute the housemate acting it out loses thier place in the room. Federico volunteer's and Cameron guesses it correctly. Tania is upset when she thinks she heard the crowed say they wanted her evicted on Friday night, she retreats to the Diary Room telling Big Brother she is unsettled about what she heard. Steph is comforted by Nush, Cameron and Tania when she gets upset. A psychologist takes a look at Cameron's role in the house and warns that his constant moral fears and badgering could be fatal for his status in the house, while another examines the housemates sleep patters and says that Steph has the best of all, evidence that she has adjusted well to life in the house while Scott is clearly struggling. Episode 429 - Federico and Jon Evicted gs: Justine Sellman (Herself) Sissy Rooney (Herself) The fourth eviction night of Big Brother 2003 was extra special - two of the housemates would be evicted instead of the traditional one housemate and a first in Big Brother UK history was made when contestants Jon Tickle and Federico Martone were evicted from the house thanks to a public vote. In the first show of the evening, Davina spoke to friends and family of all three nominees - Jon, Federico and Cameron. Justine and Sissy were also on hand to discuss the latest happenings and about the looming eviction result. As always, highlights from the past twenty four hours in the house was shown, and this included Jon accusing Ray of "mentally abusing" the girls when he played a prank on them which was met by suprise by the five other boys who were also in on the joke. Then, Davina spoke live to the house and revealed the first of Week Four's two evictee's would be Federico. The first show ended with live streaming of house reaction to the first eviction result. The second show was Federico's eviction and interview. He had suspected he would be booed upon his exit and he wasn't wrong, but he seemed to almost enjoy the audience's bad reaction to him, taunting them on the stairs leading out of the Big Brother house. He then spoke about his time in the house with Davina in the studio and in particular he spoke about who he liked and who he didn't but said he wasnt bothered about being evicted from the TV Gameshow. After Federico's interview Davina spoke to the house once more to reveal that it was Jon who would become the 5th evicted housemate. After surviving three prior eviction votes his time was finally up in the Big Brother house. The final show of the evening was Jon's exit and interview. Justine, Federico and Sissy were all present for his chat with Davina. Davina said she was "very excited to be interviewing him" and he was presented with a variet of questions and video tape to give a frank and honest interview. He discussed nominations and said he had "no hard feelings" towards those who nominated him because he realised "how much you have to lie in that Diary Room" when it was time to nominated. He was also shown the various campaigns that took place during his time in the house in order to dodge his eviction. At the end of the show, Davina told viewers "they did not want to miss" the spin-off show Big Brother's Little Brother on the weekend and revealed one of the contestants would need to make a "tough decision" in the Saturday Night Task. b: 20-Jun-2003 NOTE: A total of 1,735,317 viewers voted in the extra special Week Four eviction vote. Tania still maintains she wants to leave the house. Davina announces that it's Tania who is to be evicted from the house with a massive majority of the public vote. Tania's eviction episode is later shown, and the girls are all upset that another female is leaving, Nush comments that Tania will be leaving a "massive whole" in the group upon her departure but she isn't bothered and is frilled at the prospect of joining the outside world once more. She leaves the house to a slightly negative reaction from the audience, but it soon fades and she is given a better reception as she gets closer to the studio for her interview in which she reveals she wants Steph to win, brands Federico 'Aaoragant' and is annoyed at herself for getting upset by Gaetano's 'piggy' comment. She reveals that either Federico, Gos, Justine, Jon, Sissy or tonigh's evicted contestant (which turned out to be Lisa) would be returing into the house thanks to a public vote. She is in tears because of the extremely unwelcoming audience who boe her loudly througout her walk to the studio. In the studio Davina conducts a frank and revealing interview with Lisa who speaks about her two weeks in the house. She explains how she was a loser from the second she entered and how she was constantly made to feel unwanted and how she felt none of the housemates wanted her there. After discovering all of the bitching that went on behind her back she said she knew about it but also commented that she thought Ray had left her down most and how she thought he was very two faced. After her interview Davina told the evicted contestants who would be returning. She reveals its Jon who is to be reunited with the remaining contestants. She also tells Lisa that, suprisingly, she came second in the vote. Jon then rejoined the house live and was shown to enter the house much to the housemates suprise. In the first of two LIVE episodes Davina McCall spoke to friends and family of the two nominess and discussed with them thier chances of surviving the eviction vote. Ex-Housemates were also on hand to provide insight into the Big Brother experience. Highlights from Day 56 in the house included Nush speaking to Big Brother about how she felt she would be evicted. Cameron also spoke in the diary room about how the pressure is different this week due to the fact he is so near to the final and how he really wants to stay and see the whole thing through. Davina speaks to the house and reveals that Nush is to be the 9th person evicted from the house. She takes the news well, congratualtes Cameron, hugs everyone and retreats to her bedroom the get ready for her exit. Scott is noticably dissapointed to see Nush leave. In the second show a brief highlight package of the previous hour in the house Jon speaks to Nush about the British Press and tells her to sell her story to a Sunday newspaper as that's where the money is, but he warns 'They will print lies about you whatever so prepare yourself for that'. Scott tells Nush he is 'Very sad to see her go' and they embrace. Nush is then evicted from the house to a very excitable audience who give her the best reception of any housemate so far. She is greeted by her parents and is then whisked away into the studio by Davina for her crucial interview. She speaks frankly about her time in the house. Firstly, she discusses nominations and is shown who nominated her, but it doesnt bother her and she says 'its all cool'. Davina tells her about her boyfriend who thanks to a Journalist shouting to Nush over the house fence, she already knew she was dumped. She is told he has sold his story to a Sunday Newspaper and so cannot talk to anyone else apart from them. On the subject of Scott, Nush only comments "I want to be his friend for a very long time. He was not bessoted with me at all we were just brilliant friends." At the end of the show, the voting lines are opened to the public for them to decide on the winner. Nush has no idea who will win when asked by Davina. b: 18-Jul-2003 NOTE: Of the 1,422,858 votes cast, 471,346 (33.13%) voted for Cameron and 951,512 (66.87%) voted for Nush. A huge hay-stack is built in the back garden and five large blue rubber needles are hidden inside it. The contestants gained one night in the reward room for all of them with every needle they discovered. As an added difficulty, five questions were asked to Jon and for every question he got incorrect one housemate would have to wear boxing gloves while searching. Cameron, Steph and Scott invent a new game, which involves someone putting thier feet onto the laminated paper Big Brother provides (for instructions) and another pulling them along the floor, they all enjoy it and name it 'Laminate Skiing'. A huge stage has been constructed with flash lighting and the Big Brother's infamous 'eye' logo ingraved on the stage itself. When asked why he didn't cause as much trouble as he had promised viewers, Jon replied that 'Big Brother told me I couldn't tease them - I had no other ideas on what I could do after that', and it was clear who he wanted to win the show when asked he replied simply 'Scott Turner! Anyone with mobile phones here, use them and vote for Scott to win!'. He is reunited with his family and friends. Davina presents a 7-minute highlight package airing all the best bits from Day 63 in the house. After this she makes the first eviction announcement of the evening and reveals that Steph has placed 4th and will be evicted in a matter of seconds. Steph worries that she could hear 'booing' but she needen't have worried as the audience gave her a very warm reception. In her interview with Davina she comments that although he is 'lovely' there would be no romance between herself and housemate Cameron. She was shown a collection of amusing clips involving her obsessive cleaning! At the end of the show Davina makes the second eviction announcement of the evening and she tells the house that its Scott who has been voted 3rd by the viewers, but he has over half an hour to wait before he leaves the house. This leaves Cameron and Ray to battle it out for the prize and title of Winner. In the second episode Scott is evicted from the house, given a huge cheer from the crowed he greets his friends and family on the stage and is then ushered into the studio for his first ever interview outside the house. He reveals that although he would have liked to win he is 'not bothered at all' by coming third, and was suprised to still be there after he had been predicting his own eviction in week one when he was nominated! On the hot topic of his romance with Nush neither him or her ellaborated much, despite some 'gentle' probing by Davina! After his interview and an ad-break Davina makes her way to the stage for the most important announcement of the series - she reveals who the winner of Big Brother 4 is! After what must have been an excruciating long pause for the two remaining contestants Davina announces that Cameron is the winner. Ray hugs him and shakes his hand and then walks up the stairs and out the double doors to the by now - totally hyped up crowed - who like they have done for all finalists - give him a warm reception. He is greeted by his friends and family and then walked to the studio for his interview in which his mood swings, drinking, outbursts and upsets are all discussed. Shortly after, Davina makes her way INTO the house to interview the winner, as is the UK series' tradition and she speaks to the public's choosen winner about his trip to Africa, a possible romance with Steph, his morale values that sometimes caused a rift between himself and his housemates. After this, Cameron walks out the house with Davina too the welcoming audience and his friends and family. The huge plasma screen shows Cameron his 'best bits' but also the Ł70,000 being transferred from Big Brother's bank account to his own. b: 25-Jul-2003 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Season 5 252. Episode 501: Big Brother 5 Launch Night In this, the totally LIVE Launch Programme of Big Brother 5, Davina introduces us to all 12 brand new contestants. And it couldn't be a more controversial list. A transsexual, a lesbian, an ex-stripper and an outrageously camp gay, to name just a few. In part one, a brief explanation of the application process (accompanied by all new footage) and a tour of the brand new house, lead by Davina. From here on out, the show is dedicated to the new arrivals. One by one, all 12 housemates enter the building that could be thier home for up to 10 weeks. There arrivals are accompanied by a short video that shows some of thier more memorable audition moments and introduces them to the viewing public. When all 12 have begun thier Reality TV journey, Davina announces plans for the following days task and in an added twist, the contestant that loses will not recieve thier suitcase, containing everything they wanted to take into the house, for as long as they remain in the game. Big Brother is back, and it's found it's evil side. b: 28-May-2004 NOTE: The Big Brother house has been reduced to 2/3 of its normal size. The cash prize has been increased to $100,000, although they shall loose $10,000 every time they fail their weekly task. There were no less than three major sound problems in this, the live launch episode. The first of which lasted for well over 2 minutes and made all of Davina's opening words almost unaudiable. This year, the show will run for an additional 7 days, meaning it will last for 10 Weeks. There is a slightly altered mix of the theme song from last year's season. Pulled in an average of 6.7 Million Viewers and the show's peak audience was 7.2 Million. For the first time in UK Big Brother history, the launch show did not exceed viewing records of the previous year. Episode 502: LIVE Task The 12 new contestants face thier first task, live. And to thier suprise, just two days into the show the housemates made thier first votes. All of them voted for the person they wanted to see go without thier suitcase for the duration of thier stay in the house. Loose cannon Kitten, who refused to enter the house initially on launch night, continued her rebelious ways and refused to go to the diary room when asked to do so by Big Brother. The votes were counted, and it was Kitten who the housemates decided should go without her case. Back in the studio, Davina looked through her suitcase to see what she would be missing. In addition, she revealed the first eviction would happen on Day 8 of the show. She also announced some shocking plans for the eviction. b: 29-May-2004 pc: 501 NOTE: Kitten recieved a total of six votes from her fellow housemates, Seven in total because she failed to take part. Episode 503 An hour long highlights programme, airing the most memorable moments from the first two days in the house. They include the cpntestants entering thier new home and thier first night, in which they found the 'suprise' of having less beds than people, meaning that some would have to share. Marco speaks frankly to Kitten and says he thinks that one of the females, well, isn't. Brief clips from the task are also shown and after he 'protest', Victor promptly chats in the diary room, revealing that he 'doesnt like that bitch [Kitten]'. Later the same evening, the contestants have a round of mud wrestling and there was mass debate as to if Nadia's breasts were natural or implants. Intelligent Conversation prevails, then. b: 30-May-2004 NOTE: Attracted 3.7 million viewers. Episode 504 In the first of the half hour highlight shows in the series, a selection of the best moments from Day 3. They include extrovert Jason cooking the meal, with nothing but a chef's apron on and with his buttocks on full display, Kitten climbing the roof and looking at the surrounding area, despite Big Brother's rules and warnings. The housemates also set up a singing competition, with Jason and Vanessa acting as 'judges' for the occasion. Episode 506 Kitten continues to challenge Big Brother's authority when she pulls the alchohol fridge out from the kitchen and proceeds to try and remove the lock on it. Her actions result in a shocking and drastic statement to be made by Big Brother. It's the last straw for Victor and he doesn't hide his feelings of frustrations towards Kitten's increasingly childish actions. Meanwhile, Jason and Victor tell Ahmed he needs to "Step Up" or risk getting booted out of the house. Confused by what they mean, Jason explains to him how he needs to paricipate more in discussions and "cause tension" among his fellow contestants. No longer than 20 minutes after his advice, Ahmed follows through by confroting Marco and accusing him of being "unfriendly" towards him and declares that he didn't even greet him properly on the first night. Heavily effected by such comments, Marco visits the diary room in tears later the same evening. b: 02-Jun-2004 NOTE: 4.7 million viewers watched this episode. Up 600,000 on the previous episode and up by 1.1 million viewers from the equivalent episode last year This marks the first time Big Brother has given a formal warning to all the housemates in this season. The warning is simple. Should Kitten breaks the rules again, any one of the twelve housemates will be evicted and Big Brother will have complete control over who. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 258. Episode 507 In an especially extended episode, to cover all of Day 6's incredible action, Big Brother makes a shocking announcement that none of the contestants wants to hear. After writing offensive phrases on the mirror's as a "protest", Kitten is given a third warning. As explained to the housemates the previous day, such action would mean that one of the contestants would be evicted, and true to thier promise, a statement was released to the contestants informing them a contestant will be evicted because of Kitten's actions. When and Who was not revealed. The shocking announcement causes a huge rift, and Emma promptly tells Kitten how selfish she feels she is being, and how she needs to take responsibility for her actions. Her comments are met with fierce rivalry from Kitten and she tells Emma she is naive for 'playing into Big Brother's hands' by blaming her. Additionally, another argument breaks out when Kitten labels all 11 of her fellow housemates 'ignorant' when they do not agree with one of her views about the gay community. b: 03-Jun-2004 NOTE: This Episode aired for a Special 50 minutes (Including commercials). For the second consecutive night, this episode scored 4.7 million viewers and a 25% audience share -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 259. Episode 508: Kitten Evicted After a night of fun and games, the housemates were reminded that Big Brother was in control. Big Brother had stated that one Housemate would be Evicted because of Kitten's continuous rule breaking. And the evicted housemate was Kitten. But for the first time in Big Brother history, a housemate (Kitten) refused to leave the house, and Big Brother was forced to lower the Cash Price to Ł91,000 before she finally left the house. For Kitten's advantage, there was no crowd to greet her as she left the house, and was only forced to deal with the press. b: 04-Jun-2004 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 260. Episode 509: LIVE Task The Saturday Night Task featured the 11 Housemates taking part in a task that could cost them to loose up to Ł9,000 of their Cash Price. The housemates were told to choose the most intelligent housemate (Stuart) and the strongest housemate (Jason). The remaining housemates were placed on a roundabout that was situated in the garden. Jason then began to spin the roundabout until Stuart answered a question correctly, and Stuart continued to chose one housemate to leave the roundabout every time he answered a question correctly. By the end of the task, Marco was sick while on the roundabout, with Sheele on the edge of sickness. And the housemates lost another Ł5,000 of their Cash Price, which now leaves them with Ł86,000. b: 05-Jun-2004 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 261. Episode 510 Highlights from the second weekend in the Big Brother House. The build up to Kitten's eviction is profiled, including one of her last protests. Demanding more alchohol, better food and no eviction/nomination procedures, Kitten climbs onto the roof again. Vanessa, Daniel and Shell begin to air there feelings about Michelle and Stuart's romance in private to each other and all agree that they do not think Michelle's show of emotion and effection is genuine. "Part of her gameplan", they suggest. An argument breaks out and sends a strong divide down the group when a party, provided for by Big Brother turns into a mass food fight amonst Stuart, Michelle, Emma, Marco and Nadia. Distinctly unimpressed by thier antics, Daniel demands they clean up the mess, and along with Shell, Vanessa, Jason and Ahmed makes it clear he is agry at thier "selfish and childlike" behaviour. Later that night, Nadia confronts those who were unimpressed by her daytime food fighting games, and a huge argument erupts. Episode 511 The Drama continued in the Big Brother house with yet another outburst between two of the Housemates, by Emma walking in on Victor on the toilet. Meanwhile, a relationship between Vanessa and Jason is slowly developing, but Vanessa is not sure where she wants it to go. And the housemates have begun their weekly task, which involves them running a 24 hour Burger Bar, under the name of Big Bro. b: 07-Jun-2004 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 263. Episode 512 This Episode marked the Housemates first Nominations in the Big Brother House. But this week, Big Brother will create another twist, as the two housemates chosen to leave the house will go into a secret room and watch the housemates for 4 days, until they return back into the house. The housemates that are up for the 'Eviction with a twist' are, Ahmed, Emma and Michelle. Meanwhile, the housemates continued their Weekly Task at running a burger bar, and failed to deliver the correct order for the first time. As Michelle struggled to remember the order that Big Brother had given her. The housemates were told they were Nominating To Evict, but in fact they were nominating contestants to Move to the Bedsit. Episode 513 The housemates are told the results of the first nominations by Big Brother. Michelle takes the news badly and cries twice during the day, to be comforted by Nadia and Marco and later by her love interest Stuart. Ahmed confronts Marco about why he brought in 300 cigarettes to the house when he doesn't even smoke. When the group tries to explain that it was a thoughtful gesture, Ahmed begins complaining about passive smoking. Later in the evening, Jason discusses his tactics for the ten weeks with Victor and Stuart. b: 09-Jun-2004 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 265. Episode 514 Ahmed completely loses his temper when the wake-up call [the sound of a car alarm going off] pushes him over the edge. In a fit of rage, he throws a stack of china plates, making them smash into hundreds of pieces all over the garden. After his show of 'emotion', he retires to the spa room and cries for 45 minutes. In an attempt to ease his troubled mind, Emma tries to comfort him and tells him his plate chucking antics reminded her of a "Spanish festival". Things get steamy by night when Emma, Shell and Michelle all have a topless mud wrestling championship. Victor, Jason and Marco also join in the games. Jason and Vanessa's relationship continues to grow, and Victor, Jason and Stuart joke about Ahmed's earlier inexplicable behavior. b: 10-Jun-2004 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 266. Episode 515: The Fake Eviction In a first for the UK Edition of Big Brother, a "fake" eviction was staged. Davina guides the viewers around what will become, for the two "evicted" contestants, thier new home for as long as Big Brother decides, the Bedsit. A 70's styled and by anyones standards, distinctly grotty, one-beded room with a tiny kitchen and bathroom and little else. However, most importantly, the room contains a large plasma screen and two sets of headphones. The room's feature will allow the two inhabitants of the room to view all the action from the house, live. After the highlights packege, Davina drops a bombshell on the unsuspecting housemates. Instead of one, she reveals to them two people will leave the house. Shocked and bemused by this new revelation, the group have precious few seconds to adjust before Davina announces the nominated contestants will have to wait an excruciating 30 minutes to learn of thier fate. When the news finally comes, the housemates are in shock. Thier hot favourite to be ousted [Victor, Jason and Stuart among just about everyone else had tipped him to go at some point since his nomination was announced] is kept in the house by the public. Bubbly flirts Emma and Michelle were voted for by the public. When the 30 second countdown is done, they make thier way down the entry corridor of the house. The front door does not open for them, and the remaining housemates are told to close the door to thier home, and as soon as they do this a security guard ushers the two girls through a secret passage and into the Big Brother Bedsit. As the end credits roll, the girls franticly struggle to cope with thier new, and very confusing, situation. b: 11-Jun-2004 NOTE: Michelle recieved a 54% of the public's votes this week, while Emma trailed behind with 29%. A mere 17% of the votes when to Ahmed. Due to a technical mistake, Davina's Link to the House was not cut off properly, and so the housemates heard her say Big Brother Bedsit. They immediatley began to speculate about what it could be. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 267. Episode 516: LIVE Task The 9 remaining housemates get ready for their 3rd live Saturday task. The housemates were gathered in the living room where a housemate was told to read envelope 1 to the rest of the housemates. Marco read aloud and told his fellow housemates, that they had to pick four housemates to do a physical part of the challenge, and picked were; Vanessa, Jason, Stuart and Dan. Vanessa went to the diary room to confirm the housemates, and while taking another laminate out side the other housemates followed her. It was said that the remaining housemates must sit on a bench, while the chosen 4 were to divide them self's into pairs (Dan, Stuart, and Vanessa and Jason) On the grass was a trail of red cones, and at the end was a group of yellow circles. Reading a laminate, it was said that one housemate had to be wheelbarrowed over to the rings, and pick them up one at a time and back to start, with each pair taking it in turns. For each ring they get, is 10 seconds on the timer for the second part of the task. The housemates managed to collect all the rings forming a 1 minute and 30 second timer...oh wont the housemates regret this. For the final part of the challenge, the remaining housemates one by one, had to hang on to a pole over a bed of stinging nettles, for the whole 1 minute and 30 seconds. If they fall, then that housemate will lose Ł2000 of the prize fund. Shell was the only one to complete the task so Ł8:00 was lost. b: 12-Jun-2004 NOTE: Shell, Marco, Ahmed, Victor and Nadia took it in turn to hang on a pole, over a bed of stinging nettles. If they fell before 1 minute and 30 seconds they would fail, and a total of Ł2000 of the prize fund was taken away. Everyone but Shell failed, so they lost Ł8000, which brings their total prize fund to Ł77,000 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 268. Episode 517 Big Brother gets evil, with the introduction of the bedsit. Before the pending eviction, Michelle and Marco discuss thier other contestants and who they think is "playing a game". They agree that Dan and Vanessa are doing just this. When a mistake with Davina's link to the house means the housemates overhear the word 'Bedsit' on Friday night, the whole group go into a frenzy. Theories about what will happen are going left, right and centre, including Jason's idea that two people will be evicted and then one voted back into the house. When the voting news comes, the housemates think Emma and Michelle are evicted, when really they are going to the bedsit. Over Excited by being in the bedsit, Emma's breats constantly fall out of her top, to much amusement by the two girls. The following morning, they are set thier first task. They must decide which of the 9 housemates they left behind should have to take a cold shower. After they heard his conversation regarding voting off Nadia and Marco the previous evening, they choose Victor to take the cold shower. And when the girls watch live action from the house, Emma is distraught when Victor labels her 'racist' after some comments she made earlier in the first week. She rushes to the diary room, in floods of tears and struggling to catch her breath revealing he had "twisted" her words. b: 13-Jun-2004 NOTE: Yet again this season, psychological insights were not included in this episode. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 269. Episode 518 The bedsit duo, Emma and Michelle are set a task by Big Brother. They must pick one of thier fellow housemates to recieve cool showers. For all of the day, the housemate they pick will only ever recieve cold water when they enter the shower. The girls pick Victor and watch with much delight as the london rude-boy gets increasingly stressed out as everyone else enjoys nice warm showers. In the evening, things get raunchy when after a week-long flirtation, Jason and Vanessa end up passionate kissing in the garden and bathroom. There fun soon ends when Marco's screams of excitement from witnissing the two's romance are heard by Jason. b: 14-Jun-2004 NOTE: A total of 4.6 Million tuned in to this episode. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 270. Episode 519 The contestants make thier all-important nominations for the second time. After recieving the most votes from thier housemates, it's Vanessa and Daniel who will be facing the chop. Heavy smoker Nadia is worried to discover she has run out of cigarettes completely, and with no more in the house until the shopping arrives in almost a week, she will have to go cold turkey. Her predicament is a source of amusement for Jason and he jokes and mocks about her openly with all the housemates in the living area. His outburst is not just a frustration to Nadia, but also to Shell who takes it particually badly. Later the same evening, unaware of Nadia's sex change the group discuss transsexual's in a frank and upfront manour. Nadia retreats to the bathroom and cries for nearly an hour. Meanwhile, Shell is having her own problems, and goes to the treatment room and throws some pillows around and generally loses his temper, thanks to Jasons outburst earlier. Vanessa comforts her. b: 15-Jun-2004 NOTE: Originally scheduled to appear for 45 Minutes, this episode ended up airing for an additional 5 and a total of 50 Minutes. Episode 520: Guess Who's Coming To Dinner In this special episode, the bedsit duo return to the house. Informed by Big Brother, the other contestants believe they are just enjoying a special fancy dress party. Special it will certainly be. When contacted by Big Brother on thier bedsit telephone, the girls rush about getting prepared for the return. When they do arrive back in the house, something special is planned. With thier housemates locked safely away in the bedroom, sent thier by Big Brother, the two girls hide under the huge dinner table in the living area. Once inside, they each put thier heads through holes in the table which lead to the inside of a platter dish. Unaware of the trick, Nadia removes the lid to the platter containing Emma and gets the shock of her life, as do the other contestants. The two they thought were gone are back, and they know more than anyone can imagine. Clips are also shown of the highlights from the past 24 hours in the house. They include the housemates discovering who will be facing eviction. Shell is upset by the result, and comforts Vanessa assuring her that she believed Ahmed and Nadia would be facing the chop. Jason and Victor are shocked, and wonder "what the hell" had happened. Nadia is upset when she feels that in her hour of need, the previous evening, nobody was there for her apart from Marco, and reveals how she had a strict limit of 10 cigarettes a day but that she broke and it resulted in her running out. Later that night, she and Vanessa spot a half smoken cigarette on the floor of the garden decking, under a chair, and reach under it so that she can enjoy a smoke. b: 16-Jun-2004 NOTE: Aired for 60 Minutes. Only the second ever non-eviction episode that Davina McCall has starred in. The other was a special on the events that lead to Nicholas Bateman's expulsion in Season 1, in which she interevied him. Seen by a huge audience of 6.3 million viewers on first airing. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 272. Episode 521: Big Brawl On the night June 16th 2004, Day 20 of the fifth season of Big Brother UK, an argument broke out on a scale never before witnissed in the reality show. This episode, especially extended to one hour, airs the brawl itself and the events of Day 20 that lead to such a collosal disaster for the housemate's relationships. During the day, tempers within the house were already reaching boling point. Irratated by his constant cold showers (which Emma and Michelle set up), Victor rants inside the Diary Room, but getting no response takes to the roof to protest. Vanessa makes a fatal mistake when she tells Dan and Shell how she doesn't respect Michelle and that her opinions do not matter, unaware that the 'evictee' she is talking about is watching and listening to it all. By the time the two 'evicted' contestants return at around 10.45pm, the atmosphere in the house is at it's most explosive yet. Annoyed by the girls' return, Victor and Jason retreat to the graden to lick thier wounds. "It's time to stir things right up" remarks Victor, little does he know that is exactly what will happen, but on a scale he can't even imagine. Lifted by the return of thier buddies, Marco and Emma are more hyperactive than ever before, and the old house divide between the "the lipstick bitches" and "the adults" returns, more prominant than ever. The night's terrible arguments soon begin, for a more detailed review of these events be sure to click the link to 'recap' below. At around 4.00am, when things have finally calmed down, several of the housemates are starting to drift in and out of sleep in the living area. As the final shot, the camera zooms in to a writing on the wall [which was put there by Kitten in the first week] which reads "No More War". b: 17-Jun-2004 NOTE: This episode was a special extra 65 minutes, due to the fight at the end of day 20. Amongst all the chaos of the night, Emma was sent back to the bedsit to avoid any further explosive conflict. Events of the night marked the first ever occasion in Big Brother UK History that security guards were sent into the house. Ratings peaked an incredible 7.3 Million Viewers during the last quarter of the episode, and brought Channel 4 close to a 50% Share of all viewers. When the events profiled in this episode were happening real-time, Channel 4 made the decision to Pull all Live Feeds that were airing on the internet and on digital channel E4. The only other time this has happened in Big Brother UK history is during the revelations of Nicholas Bateman in Season 1. It was not shown in the episode, but Shell fainted in the bathroom when the arguments became too much for her to handle. It was seconds after this that Channel 4 Pulled all Live Feeds. What also was not shown, was Victor pouring wine on Emma, and plates being thrown. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 273. Episode 522 Davina McCall hosts the LIVE Friday night programme, but only this time there is no crowd and no eviction. When events in the house took a sensational turn during the week, Big Brother, eager to avoid any further explosive scenes, decided to put the eviction off for the week in order to give the contestants time to get themselves all sorted out. In this episode, Davina's role is pretty pointless. She introduces a selection of highlights from the previous day. These all revolve around "the morning after the night before" and show the contestants struggling to build the bridges they burned in the previous night's fury. Vanessa and Marco have an argument, when Marco ignites the already volitile situation by calling her "fake" and "two faced". Jason struggles to apologise to anyone, still believing his actions were justified. Nadia and Vanessa put everything behind them and enjoy a genuine apology. Six of the contestants are also given formal warnings by Big Brother due to thier actions during the night. But one thing is clear, things won't ever be the same again. b: 18-Jun-2004 NOTE: The first official Eviction was set to take place on this night, but was postponed for a week, after the fight that took place two nights before. All of the public votes from the week were not deleted, however, and were simply carried foward to the following week. This is the third noun eviction, that Davina McCall has hosted, it is also the quickest that she has returned to host one. The first was in series 1, the second was this series when Emma and Michelle returned, this one is 6 episodes/days later. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 274. Episode 523 Highlights from Day 22 in the Big Brother House. The contestants continue to speculate about what has happened to Emma and wonder if she's been ejected or not, following events on Wednesday evening. Vanessa and Shell discuss it furhter and decide that whatever happens to Emma should happen to Victor also, and that both should be treated exactly the same. Nadia becomes upset, and comforted by Shell, Vanessa and Marco admits she is feeling guilty for her actions in the brawl, and is considering leaving, Jason's refusal to accept her apologies only makes the situation worse, and yet when told about Nadia's sorry state by Daniel, Jason continues to ignore her apologies. b: 19-Jun-2004 NOTE: This week did not feature a Live Task, due to the Big Brother Brawl and Emma's sudden eviction. Since there was no task, the housemates' prize fund remained the same. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 275. Episode 524: Emma Ejected The contestants are told of Emma's departure from the house. After some silence, out of respect for thier friend, the contestants pretty much end in agreement that it might be for the best. Outside the house, Davina interviews the ejected housemate, discussing her time in the house and her plans for the future. Discussion on the Big Brawl is limited, but Emma is clearly sad to be evicted from the house because of it. It's also clear that if she is out, so should Victor be. b: 20-Jun-2004 NOTE: Discussion on the fight was limited, but Davina did not elaborate on why. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 276. Episode 525 In the first of the Phsyco-Analysis programme's of Season Five, the resident Big Brother physcologists analyse and comment on the housemate's behaviour over the past 24 hours, and reveal what it tells us about them. They kick off with an analysis of Stuart and Michelle's relationship - labelled "A Dangerous Liasion". Stuart's hot and cold approach to Michelle is under the microscope, and so his reactions to her eviction on Day 15, and her unexpected return on Day 20. Daniel is also analysed further, and his role as the mediator is further investigated. Friendly with both camps in the house, and the ultimate bridge builder after the big fight of Night 20, he was suprised when he found himself nominated for eviction, but have the housemates made a terrible mistake in risking losing him from the group at this stressful and unstable time? Plus, a further look at Nadia and her big secret. Her choice of friends in the house is totally understandable, given that thier main purpose is to have fun, talk about make-up and clothers and generally act like young teens at a slumber party. But, yet even within the secruity net of the hareem [her alliance in the house], she has still not told anyone her biggest secret. With nominations approaching, and the other housemates already suspecting her, has she left it too late to save herself from a reputation as a liar and a contestant not to be trusted? b: 21-Jun-2004 NOTE: First of the Physco-Analysis episodes this season. First of the Phsyco-Analysis shows in the new permanent time slot of 10pm on Monday's. Two of the experts from last season return to cast thier professional opinions over the fifth set of housemates. The titles of the physco-analysis items are "A Dangerous Liasion", which is all about Michelle and Stuart's relationship, "The Mediator" which informs us about Daniel's role in the house and "No Man's Land" which is all about Nadia's big secret. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 277. Episode 526 With no nominations due to the delayed eviction, thier is a positive and cheerful mood in the house. Big Brother sets the contestants a new challenge. They must all make a clay cast of a body part. Once all the clay cast's from each contestant have been made, they must all be applied to a wire frame to form the "perfect housemate". A ironic conversation takes a turn for the bizzarre and uncomfortable when Michelle asks transsexual Nadia if she had "it" put in a pickle jar when it was "cut off". The conversation was planned by Marco and Michelle as a joke, but they do not realise how close they are to the truth about Nadia's secret past. The perfect housemate model, which was originally a female, becomes A Sexual when the boys in the house mould a penis onto it. b: 22-Jun-2004 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 278. Episode 527 The housemates are set another task for the day. They must, in groups of two, put on a play about their time in the house and their Big Brother experiences. Vanessa vents her annoyance over Jason's constant bad mood to Daniel. Later that evening, Jason leaves the table without thanking Vanessa for the meal she prepared. His actions mean Dan marches into the bedroom to let him know how much it irritated him. It's clearly not Jason's day because later that evening Vanessa confronts him about his recent mood swings. Both him and Victor disrepute it though, commenting "You've been hanging around with too many w*nkers lately". Vanessa accuses him of being "weird and condescending". b: 23-Jun-2004 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 279. Episode 528 While the Housemates did their weekly shopping list, Stuart noticed that there was a Cowboy Hat priced at Ł20.00. He gave up hope in buying it, until Big Brother informed him that the price of the hat had been reduced to Ł6.00. The hat shall now be delivered with the rest of the food on Saturday. Meanwhile, Jason apologized to Vanessa about the argument that they had the night before. And informed her that she was one of the only Housemates that he could feel comfortable talking to. Also, the Housemates were given a task in which they had to give a News Report to Big Brother. b: 24-Jun-2004 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 280. Episode 529: Vanessa Evicted In the first true eviction night of Big Brother 2004, house beauty Vanessa was shown the door by the public. Highlights from the past 24 hours in the house were aired in the first of the evening's episodes as always. They included the 'hareem' enjoying fun and games as always, when Nadia and Michelle conspire to rip Marco's boxers off him to leave him naked. Even his attempts to find refuge in the Diary Room don't work when the girls follow him, and after achieving thier goal, Big Brother asks Marco to take a seat on the diary room chair. Daniel complains to Jason about his continuing bad mood once more and the two end up having a debate about the scot's turbulant moods. When the eviction announcement finally comes, the contestants gather on the sofa's to hear that Vanessa will be evicted. Upon her eviction, Vanessa is evicted too loud and shattering booing from the audience outside. At the end of her interview, Davina makes an important announcement, and based on events of the previous week, a suprising one. It seems that 'Evil' Big Brother will be returning, and soon. 281. Episode 530: LIVE Task
Tonight's live task risks another Ł10,000 of the housemate's remaining Ł77,000 prize fund in a game of intelligence, skill and strength called Big Brother's Human Games Challenge. Split across three sections, the housemates must divide into three teams and decide how much of their Ł10,000 stake to risk on each of the three games - for instance, if they're more confident about strength than intelligence or skill, they could risk Ł5,000 on the strength game and Ł2,500 each on the skill and intelligence games. Episode 531 The housemates reacted badly when they heard the abuse that Vanessa had received from the crowd. And for the first time since Big Brother started, Jason was the first to go to bed. The next day, the housemates were given a long slippery surface which kept them occupied for a few hours, and took their minds away from Vanessa's departure. Meanwhile, Jason had a conversation with Shell, about how he had spoken about her in the Diary Room, and wanted to apologize. And Dan kept himself thinking about why he was not the Housemate to leave on Friday night, and how he doesn't fit in that well. b: 27-Jun-2004 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 283. Episode 532 Big Brother's resident phsycologists dive deeper into the housemates thoughts and emotions, and give viewers at home a unique insight into how the contestants are really feeling. b: 28-Jun-2004 NOTE: This episode run a very spacial 70 minutes, due to the new arrival of Becki, and her goings on, on the first night. The titles for the phsyco-analysis' this episode are "No Limits", "Vanity Case" and "Into The Lion's Den". -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 284. Episode 533: Kiss of Betrayal Jason was given his 2nd official Warning from Big Brother, as he left the seating area during Nominations. Jason and Ahmed spoke to the housemates after wards, explaining that they he can not stay in the seating area with everyone smoking. All the Housemates agreed, but Nadia had issues with it. Meanwhile, the Housemates had nominated, and Marco and Nadia both received 6 votes, which put them up for Eviction. Once again, Stuart did not receive one nomination, along with Michelle. Later on that day, Becki was told to come to the Diary Room. While there, Big Brother told her that she had to nominate one Housemate, and the housemate that she would select would immediately be put up for Eviction on Friday. The way that she would select the Housemate, would be to kiss her on both cheeks, and therefore becoming the Kiss of Betrayal that Judas did to Jesus. After a few minutes of thinking, Becki went over to Michelle and kissed her on both cheeks. First time in any season of Big Brother UK that a replacement housemate has nominated another housemate in thier first week. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 285. Episode 534 The Housemates received the news of the Nominated housemates. Which caused all three of the Harem to react in different ways. At first, Michelle demanded that Big Brother would left her leave the house straight away, before the other Housemates calmed her down. Nadia had stated that she had prepared herself for the news, and therefore was not deeply affected by it. Unlike Marco who began to insult Ahmed, and then went onto to insult housemates such as Victor and Jason, in stating that they would receive large amount of abuse, once they left the house. Meanwhile, Becki had to restrain herself from informing the Housemates of why Michelle was nominated. And an argument between Victor and Marco began, with Marco accusing Victor of sabotaging the votes. Which Victor then accused Marco of doing the same. b: 30-Jun-2004 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 286. Episode 535 For the third part of the Weekly Task, the Housemates had to write a song, in which they would then perform. The housemates were split in to two groups, and both successfully completed the task. And the for the first time since they entered the House, the housemates were able to listen to music, that was played through out the house. b: 01-Jul-2004 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 287. Episode 536: Marco Evicted Marco was the 4th Housemate to leave the Big Brother House. Which now leaves just Michelle and Nadia as the remaining members of the Harem. Meanwhile, Jason, Victor and Ahmed were all given warnings by Big Brother, for their conversation on Nominations. Ahmed did not take the news well, as he asked Jason and Victor to stop talking to him about nominations, and then announced to the entire house, that he wants them to Nominate him for the next weeks Eviction. b: 02-Jul-2004 NOTE: Across the week, 837,394 votes were cast. Of these, 439,178 (52.45%) were against Marco. Nadia faired best, with just 161,345 (19.27%) of the voters wanting her out. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 288. Episode 537 b: 03-Jul-2004 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 289. Episode 538 This weeks Saturday Challenge featured 8 of the Housemates taking part in a Cow & Farmer Race. Dan chose who would be the farmers and who would be the cows. All of the housemates completed the Task, except for Jason and Ahmed, as Ahmed refused to be a cow, and he switched with Jason, which cost them $2,500. Meanwhile, Jason, Victor, Ahmed and Becki had a conversation about transsexuals, while Nadia was in the room. The three men stated that they could never date a transsexual, while Becki said the opposite. And Nadia remained quiet through out. Which led to Nadia and Becki leaving the bedroom. The Phsycologists continue to analyse the housemates' behaviour. b: 04-Jul-2004 NOTE: First appearance of the Phsycological Analysis programme on a Sunday night. This will be it's new slot for the rest of the season. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 290. Episode 539 b: 05-Jul-2004 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 291. Episode 540 An aeroplane, sponsored by tabloid newspaper The Sun, flies over the house, and the housemates see it's banner that reads 'Only Becki Nominated Michelle!'. The contestants are confused, and Shell thinks the national newspaper have got thier wires crossed and made a mistake. By coincidence, Michelle is in the Diary Room as the time of the plane's flying across the house and so only hears about what it says when she leaves the diary room. Becki continues to lie about it, and says she is totally innocent and confused by the message. Michelle tells her not to worry about it and insists she doesn't mind. Later in the day, the contestants make thier nominations, all that is, but Jason and Victor. The rest of the house decided that Ahmed and new girl Becki should face the chop. b: 06-Jul-2004 NOTE: Who Nominated Who? - Week Six Ahmed : Nadia and Daniel Becki : Daniel and Ahmed Daniel : Victor and Becki Jason : Banned from Nominating Michelle : Ahmed and Becki Nadia : Jason and Victor Shell : Becki and Jason Stuart : Ahmed and Becki Victor : Banned from Nominating Victor and Jason were banned from nominating because they continued, depsite several warnings, to discuss and influence nominations Victor discussed nominations a total of 36 times since he entered the house. Jason discussed nominations a total of 31 times since he entered the house. Stuart got a second formal warning because Ahmed had influenced his nomination. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 292. Episode 541 Big Brother reveals to the housemates which of them will be facing eviction in the sixth week. Ahmed and Becki are told they will face possible eviction on Friday. Ahmed, having asked his fellow contestants to vote him off, seems happy. Becki insists she was expecting it, but seems less delighted about the situation. Stuart and Michelle get in trouble for 'snogging' in the garden, and not behind the 'bike sheds' as rules for the Big Brother Primary School require. Michelle must write 100 lines of 'I Must Not Snog The Boys In Inapropriate Places of the School' with a chalk and black board, while Stuart must wear a 'D' hat and stand in the corner without speaking to anyone until further notice. Daniel vents his frustrations to Shell about Becki's joking behaviour at 'registration' when she pretended to act like a silly young girl. Her actions annoyed Daniel because as he put it, this task must now, under any curcumstances, be '*****ed up'. b: 07-Jul-2004 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 293. Episode 542 b: 08-Jul-2004 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 294. Episode 543: Becki Evicted In the fourth public vote of the season, viewers at home decided that new girl Becki Seddiki should leave the Big Brother House. Before the imporatant announcement was made, several clips from Day 42 were aired, including much of the anticipation for the week's eviction result. Ahmed informs Big Brother that he doesn't want to leave, and it's a thought mirrored by Becki too. When the announcement finally comes, Becki is graceful in defeat, and hugs all of her housemates. While hugging Michelle, a huge BOOing erupts from the crowed outside, and the housemates all hear it. Daniel quickly tries to give the evictee advice on how best to handle such a hostile reaction. When Davina returns, she informs Becki she has one minute to gather her thoughts, say her goodbye's and leave the house. Her rival contestants, who had once treated her with suspicion and voted her out at thier first oppurtunity, all rallied round to try and make her departure as pleasant as possible. When the doors opened for Becki, as expected a huge BOO could be heard from the hundreds of audience members waiting for her outside. Throughout her interview, which was controversially held outside, Becki discussed her time in the house with Davina. She talked about everything from her flirtatious antics to her relationship with Ahmed and more. At the end of her interview she was reuinted with two of her best friends. b: 09-Jul-2004 NOTE: The music used for Becki's "Best Bits" was "I See You Baby", by Groove Armada. Becki's family did not attend her eviction. According to reports, they disowned her after being offended by her behaviour in the house. Many viewers were angry that Becki's Interview was held outside in front of such a hostile audience when it could have been done Inside the Studio. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 295. Episode 544 Highlights from Eviction Day in the Big Brother house. Becki and Ahmed await news of thier fate in the house. Becki says to both the group and Big Brother in the Diary Room she doesn't want to leave the house. Ahmed appears to be much more relaxed about the whole thing, saying either way he will be happy. b: 10-Jul-2004 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 296. Episode 445: Two Tribes Go To War b: 11-Jul-2004 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 297. Episode 446 The housemates continue thier weekly task, in which the house has been transformed into the Big Brother Boot Camp. The housemates are becoming increasingly annoyed with Ahmed's refusal to take part in many of the tasks, which is putting thier success at risk. Michelle confronts him and things soon develop into a full blown argument when she questions why he even applied to be on the show. Later, Daniel tells Big Brother, in the Diary Room, how he feels Ahmed is acting like a "t*at" and how he feels he is faking his "illness" to get out of taking part in the task. Another argument occurs when Nadia accuses Jason of picking on her because she smokes, and says he is being unfair by not allowing the smokers thier usual qouta of cigarettes as part of the task. But things soon turn to other matters, and the two quickly argue about many events of previous weeks in the house. Later, Daniel tries to explain to Jason how difficult it can be for smokers who are forced to stop. But he ends the conversation abruplty when Jason speaks over him and dismisses all of his remarks. b: 12-Jul-2004 NOTE: The housemates make Three Mistakes in today's tasks, one more and they would failed. The mistakes were incurred by Ahmed and Victor. Ahmed drank out of a China Mug and not his tin can, on two occasions. While Victor polished some boots Without wearing his gloves. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 298. Episode 447 b: 13-Jul-2004 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 299. Episode 448 b: 14-Jul-2004 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 300. Episode 449 The contestants are told of the huge twist in nominations in this, the seventh week of Big Brother. For three days they struggled on with thier Boot Camp Task, with the best intentions to pass the task for the good of the group. Thier leaders Michelle and Jason encouraged them along the way. As Big Brother reveals to them all they have passed the task, all our more elated than ever. All, this is, but Jason and Michelle who know all too well what is about to hit them. As Michelle sat with her head in her hands, the group realise something is not right. They don't wait too long to find out, Big Brother then plays a clip of the Diary Room in which Michelle and Jason are told of the twist in nominations. And so, with that, all six 'privates' realise thier fate. Ahmed immediatley accuses Michelle of being selfish throughout the week, and declares she only got annoyed with him for not taking part to save her own skin. Michelle is furious and loses her temper with the ex-asylum seaker once more, labelling him an 'Ignorant Little Man' and throws a flip-flop at him. Nadia and Shell eventually calm her down, but the row had already run it's course. Later, when Daniel says he is perfectly happy with the result, Ahmed causes another row when he says Daniel is 'pretending' and hiding his true feelings on the matter. Another heated discussion breaks out and the housemates end the day more divided than ever. b: 15-Jul-2004 NOTE: The first time in the show's UK history more than four people have been Up For Eviction. The shows 300th episode! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 301. Episode 550: Ahmed Evicted It's the public's fifth chance to evict another housemate. As usual, Davina McCall presides over the evening's events. Highlights from the previous 24 hours in the house include one of Stuart's few open and honest moments in the Diary Room. He's upset about the possibility of leaving, and is reflecting on the seven weeks he has now spent in the Big Brother house. He also confesses he will miss Michelle if the public do decide he should leave. Daniel, while having a chat with Nadia lets slip he is finding his role as 'Mediator' in the house to be tough. Nadia comments it's not a role he wanted, but one he was given by the other contestants, to which Daniel agrees. When the announcement of Ahmed's rejection from the house comes, the housemates are suprised to here both the most recent evictee and his friend in the house, Victor recieve large BOO's from the audience outside when thier names are mentioned by Davina. Victor and Jason discuss next week's nominations less than half an hour after the eviction result in the privacy of the bedroom. Victor says he will definatley be up for the chop next week. b: 16-Jul-2004 NOTE: A total of 1,688,101 Votes were cast in this week's eviction vote. It's the first time this season that voting numbers have broke the illusive 1 Million mark. Of the votes cast, a huge 945,535 (56%) wanted Ahmed out. Victor followed with a total of 483,573 (28.655%) votes going against him. Other nominee's trailed behind, sharing between them the remaining 14% of votes. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 302. Episode 551 b: 17-Jul-2004 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 303. Episode 552 Resident Phsycologic Experts analyse further the contestants behaviour in these final weeks of the programme and as end-game begins. As talk moves to the final night, and possibility of winning gets even greater with every passing day, what do the contestants' comments in the Diary Room say, and more importantly, what does thier body language fail to conseal. Claims of not being able to win, of not wanting to win, and of not wanting to see other's leave are more often than not false. An in-depth look at body language supports this. But despite the talk of the very serious matter of finale night, the housemates still find time for fun and games. Such energetic rounds of play fighting and other games have become a daily and incredibly important aspect of the housemates lives this year. Seemingly harmless fun and laughter is actually a very covert way of picking out people to exclude, making social circles as clear as possible and ultimatley of surviving the 10-week haul. The experts analyse. And have the contestants made a fatal mistake of under-estimating Michelle? Always kean to portray herself as a ditzy, harmless and fun loving girl who wouldn't harm a fly, is this just a smart way of avoiding nomination? If it is or not, it seems to have been overall very successful. None of the housemates see her as a potential threat in the game, and as such Michelle has avoided eviction thus far. But with the end in sight, can such a successful method of avoiding eviction still work? Episode 553 Shell and Michelle are freaked out by a large spider they discover in the bedroom and Stuart 'rescues' them from the unwanted visitor. Nadia is upset, and speaks to Big Brother in the Diary Room. She's feeling down and admits she needs to get herself out of her bad mood. Michelle spots Stuart and Shell in the kitchen making bread, and questions them both after she thought that Stuart had promised to make bread with her and not Shell earlier. Later, Big Brother supplies the housemates with two Sumo Wrestling Outfits and a small ring in which to battle in. b: 19-Jul-2004 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 305. Episode 554 b: 20-Jul-2004 NOTE: Stuart and Michelle have first Big Brother bonk! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 306. Episode 556: Victor Evicted In tonights eviction, Victor was told that he had become to 6th housemate to be evicted from the big brother house. While Jason was gutted that he was evicted, Dan was surprised at how he stayed. As Victor left, he came out of the house to boos. Davina then announces in the interview, a surprise twist to the nominations. All remaining housemates will face the public vote for eviction, as viewers get the chance to evict a housemate they think does not deserve to enter the final week. Meaning no nominations will take place on week 9. b: 23-Jul-2004 NOTE: Nadia, Dan, Jason, Michelle, Shell and Stuart all face the public vote for eviction! Because of the surprise twist, Stuart is the first housemate in big brother history to not receive one nomination while in the house, and for the duration of Big Brother! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 309. Episode 557 b: 24-Jul-2004 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 309. Episode 563: Michelle Evicted Housemates learn the secret, that all of them faced the public vote. Davina finally announces the result, as Michelle becomes the 7th housemate to be evicted from the big brother house, after her jealousy became too much for the fans. Davina interviews her, while trying to get Michelle to reveal if her and Stuart did more under the table. Michelle gave no comment. At the end of the interview, Davina revealed that a special eviction show will take place this Wednesday, as the housemate to come in 5th place will be evicted! Also on Thursday, housemates talk about what could happen on Friday with eviction, and Michelle spends some quality time with Stuart, as he says he will miss her if she is gone, and that Michelle will wait for Stuart if evicted. b: 30-Jul-2004 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 564. Episode 564 Highlights from Day 64 in the house, during which previous favourite to win, Michelle, was suprisingly booted out by the viewers. The housemates are also told all of them had faced the public vote during the week. After her departure from the house, Stuart comes to the Diary Room to express his dissapointment at his lover's exit from the house, but also says he is pleased to have made it to the final week and says he will be excited to see Michelle in the outside world. Jason is also suprised by Michelle's departure, and reveals he thought that his time would be up this week. In a conversation with Daniel, he asks him why he wasn't honest with Nadia when she thought the audience outside were boo'ing her. In fact, Jason is mistaken. They were not boo'ing her, but instead giving him a frosty reception when his picture came on the large screen. Daniel insists that he doesn't believe Nadia was getting boo'd, and correctly so, she wasn't. b: 31-Jul-2004 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 565. Episode 565 b: 01-Aug-2004 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 566. Episode 566 b: 02-Aug-2004 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 567. Episode 567 Monday highlights saw Big brother playing with the housemates minds, as early in the morning, Big brother informed housemates the store room is now open with their suitcases, and must all pack their bags in 1 hour. Nadia was most shocked and surprised, "1 hour?!" she kept shouting. While everyone panicked Jason kept calm, saying they needed some excitement in the house. The hour was up and housemates returned their cases to the store room. Later Big brother called a housemate to the diary room (Nadia) and asked how she was, then told Nadia not to tell anybody about their conversation, as big brother will take the rule breaking very seriously. Coming out, the housemates are suspicious as Nadia claims they asked her about her microphone. They later call Nadia back in and say the same thing, while Nadia is more concerned that she thinks Big brother are trying to show her something, and looks around the diary room. Big bro then informs housemates, nominations will take place in one hour, and all must arrive fully clothed- Their eviction outfits. An hour arrives as Nadia reads a laminate to the group informing them they must make one nomination- face to face! Unknown to them, the housemate with the most votes will get an individual reward. All housemates refuse to nominate, as big brother told them the truth behind it. Housemates receive their suitcases again, as Shell teaches Nadia some English slang words for sex. b: 03-Aug-2004 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 568. Episode 568: Stuart Evicted A quick update of Tuesday, saw the housemates pay for their refusal of nominating, as they were shown nominations, their fellow housemates made. Shell was slightly upset over Stuart's nomination to her, but really upset after Nadia saw Shell's nomination of her. However Nadia was more concerned of how she looked while making the nominations. Shell started crying and ran outside, kicking the pillar and hurting her foot, while the others went to comfort her. In the shock live eviction, the audience were told to be quiet- no cheering or anything until music was played into the house. When it was, the audience screamed as Davina takes it over to big brother for the eviction of a housemate. While housemates danced, a chipper Stuart was called to the diary room, where he was told he will be evicted without saying good bye to his fellow housemates. Leaving through the diary room, he enters the hallway where the screaming crowd await him outside. In the interview, Stuart spoke about his relationship with Michelle, saying how he would like a future with her. Also told that he received no nominations, he- like Michelle refused to say anything about his and her rumble under the table. He was also shown, his former housemates reactions in the house, after hearing the crowd shout for Stuart. Thinking he won, they scream and clap getting ready to leave them selfs. After his best bits were shown, he was reunited with his lover Michelle. Now that just leaves 4 housemates- Dan, Jason, Nadia and Shell. Who wins? Episode 569 b: 05-Aug-2004 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 570. Episode 570: Big Brother 5 Finale After ten weeks of bitching, rowing, romance, passion, scheming and just about everything else in between, Big Brother 5 finally comes to a close in the biggest Reality TV finale of the year. Host Davina McCall presides over the night's evictions and announces who has won. The show kicks off with some highlights of Day 70 in the house, including the evening's "Big Brother 5 Awards". The announcement that Shell will be the first evictee of the night shortly follows, coming 4th. Her exit is met with rapturous applaud by the audience outside who welcome her with open arms back into the real world. In her interview, she discusses her approach to life in the house which had many wondering - "is she really that nice?". Soon after the 4th Place Housemates interview, Davina announces that Daniel is in 3rd place and will be the next to leave the house. On his exit, Daniel confirms what he said in the house for weeks, he didn't want to win. He also discusses his role as mediator within the house. Next up, it was the announcement that mattered more than any before it. Davina announced that the winner of Big Brother 2004 would be Nadia. A shaken up, shocked and exstatic Nadia is hugged by Jason, the show's suprise runner-up. And with that, Jason leaves to a large ammount of BOO's from the audience outside. His interview is often awkard, with the moody scot's frosty reception from the crowd not helping. Next, Nadia's time to meet her adoring public finally arrives and the winner walks out of the house to rapturous applause and a collection of noisy and spectacular fireworks. In her interview, a still shaken up and delighted Nadia discusses her time in the house and how she feels about winning. And, in an added suprise, she is greeted by her mother whome she has not seen for a year, and other members of her long distant family. As the tears roll, Davina calls an end to what has been one of the most exceptional seasons of Big Brother to date. b: 06-Aug-2004 NOTE: This year, the winner, Nadia, is interviewed outside the house and Davina does not enter the house to speak to her, as has been the case in previous seasons. A huge peak of over 9 Million viewers tuned into the finale episode to see Nadia leave as the winner. A total of 6,366,325 votes were cast in the final week. This takes the total votes for the series to 14,790,551. 3,863,696 (60.7%) votes went to Nadia, while 1,335,246 (21.0%) were for Jason.
