I've read the writeup on BBC news, I dunno if it's still ongoing but it's a lot more than I thought it was going to be.

Honestly, abolish the monarchy, it's time has passed, it sounds like Stockholm Syndrome is drilled into the royals from a young age and issues of mental health seem rampant. The whole system is a relic and should be consigned to the pages of history.

It's also provided another example of the difference of coverage between Kate and Meghan. Kate eating avocados was seen as a method of dealing with the ills of pregnancy, but with Meghan, the newspapers mentioned how avacados were leading to deforestation.

They also weren’t asked to take the traditional picture of the new baby either. Meghan just shutting down all of the haters and warped sense of entitlement that people had/have for them and their children

diana, the future queen of england, was self harming and had an eating disorder .... and all she got from the family was scorn. This has all been known for so long and on public record. Harry has lived within the family for over 30 years. To say any of this was unexpected or a shock is simply untrue. The royals are not nice people, they never have been

...I just can’t understand why ‘the royal way/tradition’ etc would be something to be seen as having as a positive to continue...this has all really made me reconsider the royal family..and at the very least, a stripping back, maybe...
