Terror attacks in Afghanistan isn't anything new, because they've been fighting terrorists. In 2019 alone there were just under 2000, which was the highest total for a decade.

The terror attacked started happening more frequently as we (all countries who were part of the war) started to leave the country. People should have been paying attention to how these attacks have been steadily increasing since ‘ending the war on terror’
Removing all soldiers, troops, intelligence etc too early has completely ****ed everything up. And not even just in Afghanistan, there were RAF bases closed all over the world. I feel like this proves that we need these places open now more than ever. And that they should never have been shut down/downsized in the first place But I think it’s too late and too much damage has been done

the problem they have is that there will likely be more and more attacks, and as they withdraw the troops, they get even more vulnerable. The alternative is to flood it with more troops and secure a bigger area
