I used to be really into Corrie winning awards and wanting EE to be axed, but nowadays I cant see why people enjoy the war of the soaps, I never enjoyed Corrie as much.

Although I will defend Corrie if people claim it is crap (obviously)

And I have found myself watching the EE Omnibus each week

Now I know most of the characters

Shirley, Heather, Phil (everyone knows Phil), Peggy, Stacey, Bradley, Max, Tanya, Jack, Ronnie, Roxy, Billy, Honey, Ian, Lucy, Peter, Stephen, Minty, Garry, Jase, Dot, Christian, Sean, Jane

I think Corrie & EE are both rubbish. Although I could sit through the odd Corrie, I just cant bring myself to watch EE. It's the biggest load of rubbish.

Lol "biggest load of rubbish" that get's like 10/11 million viewers, loads more then HO. If anything I have gone off HO a bit, EE is much more better, and better actting as well.

As for Corrie, now I don't like it, but it does have two hot people in it, David and that Tina I watch it if they are in it, like I flick through lol.

EE and Hollyoaks are the best soaps Emmerdale IMO is dull and ONLY care about compettion with EE. I mean i have TRIED to watch Emmerdale ' the repeats and it is so dull i use to love emmerdale but got sick of the EE clashes. EE DESERVES BEST soap this year EE has had the best year 2007 and this years is going to be the best:

. Bianca and Ricky Back
. Janine the BEST SOAP bitch EVER is coming back for a week
. Max Buried ALIVE
. clare will become a Great addtion love her already
and even MORE.

Emmerdale is well and truely crashing and burning, A whole forum of die hard fans have switched off.

Corrie and EE are my favourites, if Emmerdale bucks up its ideas when Anita Turners work is shown, I will be back in my top 3

Emmerdale has improved an awful lot recentlyuIMO.

Aye from what it was last year, dont get me wrong I still love Emmerdale and will continue watching, I really hope Anita Turner can turn the show around to the year when it was the 2nd best soap (2006)

Yes, and each and every single one of those millions of people is a pleb.

What possible enjoyment can be found in watching something which is similar to real life? I can understand comedies, because they're supposed to entertain (like Shameless)...but real life drama (soaps) are just stupid.

People should watch something a bit more intellectually stimulating than Stacey wotserface shagging a couple of blokes every few weeks.

It comes down to what people like, in this case EE get's that many veiwers because people like it, there's a lot more to EE then what you said, the storyline they did where Little Mo got abused by her husband helped so many people (women) after it was done it was reported that many women left they wife beatting husbands, EE research all their storylines before hand, they are not stupid, and still hold the tilte for the most watch UK soap ever with 30.15 million viewers when Den Angie divorce papers, no other soap has beat that.
