Default Phoo Action!

Who watched this on Tuesday? I thought it was very insane but i enjoyed it a lot and I hope it gets picked up for a full series.

For those who don't know, Phoo Action was the first of six pilot dramas made for BBC3. After all 6 have aired an online poll will be opened and whichever drama gets the most votes will be made into a proper series.

Phoo Action is kinda weird to describe, imagine a kung fu cop drama which is kinda done in the style of the Mighty Boosh.

It's annoying. It's nothing like Mighty Boosh which has witty humour, this is just plain weird and I didn't enjoy watching it

I just realised I posted this in the wrong section....

I realise it isn't much like Mighty Boosh in humour but i think the look is quite similar, that's what i meant before sorry if i didn't make that clear.

To anyone who is interested, here's an article about the next two pilots.

'Phoo Action' to return for series
Thursday, February 14 2008, 15:52 GMT

By Dave West, Media Correspondent

Phoo Action is to return to BBC Three for a full series.

A six-part run of the futuristic kung-fu drama was commissioned even before a pilot aired on Tuesday.

It was one of six pilots BBC Three controller Danny Cohen ordered for the channel's rebrand this week.

He decided to give Phoo the green light earlier than expected to make sure it could be continued. It is based on a cartoon by Jamie Hewlett, who created Tank Girl.

"We really believe in the originality and boldness of Phoo Action," said a corporation spokesman. "It's fantastic news that the work of Jamie Hewlett and the rest of the crew will be back on the channel."

The series will be made by BBC Scotland in Glasgow later this year while the other pilots still to air could also still be commissioned.
Woooo! I can't wait for the full series! Also does anyone know how to move topics? Since this is in the wrong section.

Oooh sorry! I didn't mean your opinion was wrong, eek I just re-read my post and it made it sound like I was saying "no you're wrong" LOL, I meant I understand Boosh's humour but not this.
