Most of the Front Bench the "don't they know there's a war on" rhetoric doesn't fly with me - we're not at war, and any help "we" are doing isn't anything that any other reasonable government couldn't do.

Neither, if it’s just down to the so called birthday party.
However if they attended proper parties then it’s all over for them both I think.

There's more or less always "a war on", is the thing... So it really can't be an excuse. I struggle with the talk of resignations though. Yes... In a perfect world... There'd be loads and they'd make things better. In the real world as it is, you'd just have one gaggle of arseholes resigning for another gaggle of arseholes to fart on over into their seats. It starts to become pointless and frustrating.

However, I will say Sunak, IF whoever takes his place actually commits to tackling the cost of energy/cost of living crisis.

I don't see them as parties, I see them as de stressing events at work, whilst going through such awful times.

Therefore, neither..for that.

But both for trying to conceal anything happened.

Isn't this what some politician said the other day? That it's like a nurse or teacher having a glass of wine in the staff room??

Both would be fired for gross misconduct for drinking in the staff room! Utterly ludicrous stuff.

We got rid of 2 pm's during actual ww's we were fighting. This bs about Ukraine is nothing more than an excuse they can rally around. Both should go, neither will.

I would like to think 70 percent of parents would have accepted that scenario at the time.

Definately not Boris. He deserved a glass of wine and a respite with all the pressure he was under.

I agree….he has seen us through Brexit/COVID and now negotiating through the Ukraine/Russia war…and people want him sacked for breaking a few COVID rules like 75% of the country did.

Why are pump prices so high?

The price of fuel has increased because the price for crude oil, which is used to make petrol and diesel, has risen.

At the start of the Covid pandemic demand for energy collapsed - pushing down prices.

As life has returned to normal - and demand for energy has grown - suppliers have sometimes struggled to meet this demand and prices have risen.

What impact has the war in Ukraine had?

Prices were rising before the war in Ukraine - and the fallout from Russia's invasion has made things worse.

The US has announced a complete ban on Russian oil imports. The UK is to phase out Russian oil by the end of the year.

Russia is the European Union's biggest oil trading partner and is one of the world's largest oil exporters.

It means demand for oil from other producers has increased, leading to higher prices

bad when even the left wing BBC disagree

Oh right, so they were already rising? What about the fuel that heats our homes? France capped at 4% but the UK capped at 54%.

Add that to the cost of living brought on by a brexit, the NI brexit tax and yeah, we're still looking for the guys that did his. I don't expect the BBC to be impartial these days, and I definitely don't expect the alt-right to be either thorough or honest.

The rules were authoritarian and abusive and as such should have been broken. Boris was just leading from the front. He's trying to show you to not accept authoritarian and abusive rules.

Sure, poor Bozo it must weigh heavy knowing people were dying scared and alone because of rules you put in place and weren't following.

Boris made the restrictions law. He broke the law.

I'm sure all the people who watched their loved ones die alone through an iPad screen were pretty stressed and could have done with time with friends and family they didn't live with but it was illegal to do so so many people didn't.

I'm sure a lot of people who are defending him would think pretty differently if they lost family members due to the pandemic and were not allowed the time with them due to the restrictions in place

He made the rules, he should have abided by them. Simple as that. Other countries must be pissing themselves at this **** show.
