Stop faffing about Starmer and start to stand with the people he should be.

Genuine grievances here not helped by the present Con governments apparent disinterest and arrogance.

Blair advised Starmer
it would help the Conservatives
win the next general election.

If Starmer is taking any notice of Blair then Starmer will lose out anyway.
I can't see how standing with people whose support you need to win back should be a problem.

This is what's wrong in part with politics that politicians don't do and support the things they should do and need to.
Fearing any kind of biased media backlash.
So sit on the fence pathetically.

He said live
on an interview
he is happy to take advice from Tony Blair
in order to win the next general election.

Starmer appears to be like New Labour
was.

was.
Without input from Blair, Labour has got to a stronger position.

Yes, Blair won 3 elections so on a strategy to final success perhaps Blair has ideas on presentation and what to make the main thrust of campaigns.

Although Starmer should know that himself.
He's fought in 2 elections at high level of his own prominence.
He should already know what should have been better to do and know all that was going wrong and ended up wholly negative for Labour.

What wasn't wrong in my view were the policies.
I campaigned in both 2017 and 2019 and people, not just Labour supporters liked the policies.
They disliked intensely the awkward Brexit plans and had turned solidly against Corbyn personally.
Not against his policies however.

If Starmer really clears out, after his trip back to the drawing board on policies, if he does clear out the popular policies of 2017 and 2019.
Then he will put at risk the position Labour is in at this moment.
Because the position we of Labour are in at present is because of a now growing dissent against the Con Party, not any real solid love for Labour.

If Starmer listens to Blair on policymaking then for me that will be a.great mistake.

Blair won 3 elections, however the last one in 2005 with only just over 35% of the votes cast.
Blair was on the way out.

Starmer either is or isn't the leader who has HIS plan or he's not.

Labour doesn't need a ridiculously termed NEW Labour Blair like creation.
It just needs the right policies for NOW and to present them honestly to the voters.

That ALSLEF Train Drivers Union
General Secretary Mick Whelan
was live on Ridge
SkyNewsHD

He as not put a number on what the Drivers
pay rise should be?
Roughly Ł59,000 is the Medium Salary for a Driver.

He is fighting Private Rail Companies
who have been told by the Government not to give
more than 2% increase.

I think he needs to tell Arriva Rail and the others
what he needs.

Tomorrow,

Will go onto Thursday AM as well.

I'm using train travel today from the South to the North and there have been delays and cancellations galore. Thankfully I return on 29th but the knock-on effect will still probably cuck me.

Default UK Rail RMT Union Railway Strike,Weds 27 & 30th,July & 18th & 20 August

I do wonder if all these strikes should be allowed in these troubled times .

The country ( well the world really ) is practically on its knees ...and it’s getting worse with every day

What she wears does not matter.
Being prime minister is above that.

A strike just on the day I'm travelling. Typical
But I was smart. I came to the airport yesterday and stayed at a hotel
