Anti-Semitism is the most prevalent and socially acceptable because people label them rich, white oppressors. Anti-Asian racism is rampant, with it much harder for them to get accepted to universities because there are too many Asians, not enough black people and Latinos for the powers that be. Especially older Asians are increasingly victims of violent public attacks in major cities like NYC and San Francisco. Anti-white racism is de rigeur for the left and totally socially acceptable on TV, newspapers, you name it. Public schools teach white kids they are privileged and that America exists to perpetuate white supremacy. Federal programs such as one to assist farmers were only made available to non-white people. My particular region of the country is home to a lot of Native Americans and it's not safe for a white person to even visit friends on the reservations. Defunding of police has led to an explosion of crime in black communities and they have suffered the most extreme learning loss of any students in the country since the pandemic began because of over-the-top lockdowns that lasted too long in major cities. Latinos are having their culture and language attacked by usually non-Hispanic leftists who insult them by calling them "latinx" and trying to change the basic grammar of their language. Democrats assume Latinos are a shoe-in vote for them because they assume Latinos support illegal immigration, but they have as many diverse opinions on the topic as anyone. There is a serious problem of setting low expectations for Latinos and black people and just assuming you don't have to really listen to their concerns or find solutions because they are a reliable blue vote.

The narrative pushed by media and society paints a totally false picture of the reality on the ground. It's a lot more complex. The current obsession with identity politics is tearing our country apart and making people more racist, more close-minded, more intolerant.

Life experiences don't come into it in this case, it sounds like you want to ignore the facts of the situation simply to perpetuate the story?

Life experiences have everything to do with it in-as-far as we’re completely-different people with an intrinsically-different way of viewing social politics in general and at the end of the day that’s fair-game. It doesn’t matter if you don’t understand where I’m coming from.

Then let's boil it down to a simple question - do you think we should disregard the facts surrounding his death?

We’re never going to correspond on this issue so there’s no point me giving any further responses. You have a logical mind but there are sociocultural nuances you mightn’t be aware of.

I’m actually not taking this as a bait-post because you’ve calmed-down on that front lately and what you’re saying in this thread is in-line with your authentic personal sensibilities and that’s fine but like I said there’s no point me doing anything other than capping my replies from this point onwards.
