Default BB6 a bad series?

Why is BB6 seen as bad series? I get the impression most people think it was not that good and not one of the best series but I think it was the most entertaining and one of the best series if not the best series of BB.

I think it was mainly because of the charactes of the housemates in there and the whole drama and the stories going on.
I really find BB6 very entertaining, funny and amazing, such a great series. I loved the tasks, the twists, the missions and the housemates (they were highly dislikable).

Simple. Ratings.

I thought it was fantastic and think it was the second best UK series, after BB5. It had a great mix of housemates, including the best BB housemate of all time - Makosi.

I think BB6 is regarded as a good series by most fans but unfortunately the ratings didn't reflect this.

The ratings were poor but I suppose any series coming after BB5 wouldn't look that good. I loved it, the last series of BB I really enjoyed.

Yeah agreed, best series after BB5.

I loved it. Every housemate contributed something, even the likes of Vanessa and Orlaith

I also think that, after a huge series like BB5 it was kinda hard for BB6 to be better but it was still a brilliant series. I'm just disapointed with the final results, Makosi or Craig should have won.

The only bad thing for me about the series was the winner. I'm starting to think BB6 was better then BB5. Brilliant tasks, twists and housemates and alot of entertainment.

Anthony was just cool, nothing else really, only when he was drunk and his relationship with Craig was kinda enjoyable to watch. And I don't even talk about Eugene, the guy who did absolutely nothing in the house.
I still think Craig or Makosi should have won, with Kinga third and Anthony fourth.

Anyway, it's very close between BB5 and BB6 for me but BB5 had this "outrageous revolution" side added in it. That's why I think BB5 is the best.

Without Craig, Anthony would have added nothing to the house, he did nothing it was Craig who provided the entertainment. I think Makosi, Derek or Craig should have won.

I think BB5 is seen as better because it was original, different and new also it came after BB4, it has made BB what it is today.

Yeah sure, Craig brought a lot of entertainment. I'm not sure about Derek, sometimes he drove me mad and sometimes he was funny.

BB6 was a good series IMO. Unfortunately it followed BB5 which was outstanding.

In BB6 the producers tried to be more outrageous. They tried to up the ante set by BB5 with the twists and the outrageous HM's. For that reason BB6 is possibly the reason why BB's last two series have been so dire as the producers have tried - and failed - to up the ante even further. The producers should take a look back at BB5 and BB6 in order to move forward. They should try and understand why those two series are usually described as the best then try to implement a some kind of balance for the next series.

BB6 was IMO the best series ever and was much better than the overrated BB5.

I agree. I really stopped watching BB8 after Char;ey was evicted, and I only watched BB7 because Nikki and Ashlyne were in it really to the end.

Anyway, to the point, BB6 was my second fav series, after of course, the legendary, golden series BB5 which I dont think the UK will ever beat.

BB6 had amazing characters, twists, tasks, secret missions, a high entertainment value, amazing house/eye... could go on forever lol Anyway I guess in ranking order it would be:

BB5
BB6
CBB4

(I cant coment on series before BB5, cause I never watchd them.)

Only because it was up against Celebrity Love Island which pulled in 5-6m every night, but back then that was a flop for ITV.

I absolutly ADORE BB6! I also think that BB5 is extremely overated. Even the boring housemates contributes something. Many people think that Makosi wouldn't have been as entertaining without Vanessa. Also the day after poolgate is probably one of the best episodes I've ever seen on BB. You have Anferny soaked with regret, Maxwell constantly making digs at Orlaith and Makosi (who really don't know how to react!), Craig overwhelmed with jealousy at Makosi that she might actually have had sex with his Ant, Vanessa filling in BB in the DR (Probably the only funny thing she did!) and Makosi scheming beneath her silence! Also Makosi and Kemal along with BB7's Nikki are my joint fav housemate of all time. Oh and Jade BB3 too!

I found BB6 not really enjoyable. I thought the housemates weren't enjoyable to watch at all. I found it boring after like 2 weeks.

It is my favourite series. Brilliant housemates, good arguments, legendary tasks ( The Box task and the Love loft are among my fav BB moments ever) and the infamous Poolgate + 'incident' with the bottle!

BB6 had one of the best gameplayers ever in Makosi and it was also incredibly unpredictable (the fav to win seemed to change every week unlike BB7) It had Derek's wit, Science's attitude, Craig's Bunny-boiler personality, Eugene's nerdiness, Makosi's secret missions and the fall of Maxwell and Saskia!

The ratings were low because a lot of part-time BB viewers couldn't warm to the housemates and didn't watch but for a lot of hardcore BB fans it is regarded as one of the finest series'.

It was actually because some of them watched Celebrity Love Island instead. That regularly got 1m+ more than BB6.

Makosi is tied with Aisleyne for the title, but I agree completely.

I didn't think BB6 was bad at all.

I think BB7 was the best, then BB5 and then BB6.

It probably was seen as boring after BB5 because we know what happened in there! lol.
