[Sweet victory! California court rules
in favor of Christian baker who refused to bake cake for a lesbian couple in 2017, citing her Christian beliefs - and adds that people 'shouldn't push any agenda against anyone else A California court on Friday ruled in favor of a baker who turned away a lesbian couple who asked her to make a wedding cake in 2017 Cathy Miller, owner of the Tastries Bakery, celebrated the new win on Facebook Friday in a post on Facebook thanking followers for their support Tastries Bakery has fought several legal battles now regarding the refusal to bake a cake for a lesbian couple Miller allegedly politely gave the couple an alternative baker in the area to go to for their wedding cake She also said that the situation would have been different if the cake was already made but that the act of making it specifically for them went against her beliefs Judge Eric Bradshaw said in his decision that baking a cake is still protected as 'pure speech' and considered artistic expression] It makes Logical Sense https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...n-wedding.html ![]() You 2 Trouble Makers wasted your life on this battle since 2017 and YOU LOST. |

I've got a question for Arista.
How does one bake a Gaycake? ![]() Now that I'm done with being a smartarse, I don't get why this person wants to make their business look bad? You're turning down custom for a pathetic reason, they haven't even done anything wrong to the business.

gets more customers now. You are not looking at the Facts But this offends the Cake Artist Beliefs In the USA the rights protect your Religion These 2 parthetic gay trouble makers were over cocky thinking they knew the law. Many could see why the rights of a Top Cake Artist are well above some time wasters, In LA there are loads of other bakers that would bake a top gay cake The Judge had all the Facts This is not about being Anti Gay as other bakers can help Last edited by arista; 25-10-2022 at 12:59 AM. |

For example if the customer was causing trouble, then they deserve to be barred from the business.

I don't think the bakery is bothered either way ,as they will continue to run their business. I'm guessing they're doing very well financially. |

any establishment can refuse entry to anyone as they see fit in the uk. There is no right to be served enshrined in law. They are not allowed to discriminate, but that doesnt remove their fundamental right to choose who they serve
