Vast majority of the wealthiest people already have extensive health insurance cover / pay for private anyway... I can't see how it would make a huge difference.

They were asked to look into all methods that could help with the current health funding, and when they did, the got criticised

It's daft, I'm glad my hair-brained schemes at work aren't constantly up for public scrutiny, when I'm brainstorming for ideas 90% of them are ultimately absolutely terrible . That's the point of brainstorming really... you come up with ALL of the ideas and then start throwing the flawed ones in the bin . Best way to do it IMO.

The cost of paying for an operation in scotland is almost double what it would cost in england.

All the wealthy people I know travel to Teesside for the op, if they are paying.
