Default BB8-it wasn\'t THAT bad!!

i was looking back at the highlights of last years show! i felt so nostalgic!

yeah sure-it wasnt the best series ever. But the producers were trying!

07 was a poor year for BB! but 2008 and BB9 ROLL ON!!!

It was bad. There were too many gimmicks and too much interference by the producers.

If it was that great, then how come it's the lowest-rated series of Big Brother UK ever?

There were too many crappy twists (Halfway House, giving Liam £100k) and, as GiRTh said, gimmicks (All-female launch). It was a crappy series.

Then again, what do you expect when the editor of Love Island is in charge...

I agree Matt. Can I add to your list - The blatant manipulation to keep Charley in the house and the bigging up of a total unworthy winner.

It wasn't that bad actually, not great compared to BB6 and BB5 but it was not boring or annoying to watch. The twists were the worst part but I think the tasks were awesome an very entertaining to watch. About the housemates, I only liked few and they weren't as big characters as the ones from BB5 and BB6.

Why does everyone have such big expectations for BB8? It could possibly be the worst series to date in September.

Anyway, out of all the BB's I've saw (BB5 - BB8) it is by far the worst series. Poorly produced, Russell leaving and the mess of BB8's BBBM, the twists were dull, dry and We've-All-Saw-It-Before, most housemates were boring. I only supported 2 housemates (Charley/Seany) and usually I support 5 - 6 HMs.

The themewas rubbish, the launch/Finale seemed very rushed together and Davinas presenting skills weren't exactly amazing. Also, I guess this is kinda irrelivant, but the house/eye were bad last year aswell lol I would place it lower in ranking than BB4 from what clips I've saw of that series.

After Charleys eviction I only ever really watched evictions or twists.

It was that bad in my opinion. I prefered BB4 to the shambles that was BB8. It was awful.

Yes you can. It was SO obvious that they wanted to keep Charley until the end.

Exactly. However, Charley (and possibly Chanelle and Emily) were the only good casting calls on the entire show.

i never said it was great. I'm just saying that it's not as if it was unwatchable. Definitely the second or third worst series, but it was still BB and I still loved it!
I agree with Matt, for BB9 to be a success, Rebecca de Young, MUST BE EVICTED!

She's already gone hasn't she?

I swear she left before BB:CH, which shows that the powers that be clearly knew she screwed it up!

I thought it was okayy. BB4 is the worst imo, but anything can beat that.
BBCH was fantastic imo, better than BB8, it goes in third place in my ranking of BB/CBB lol.
