Lots of chat about bottling it all over the place. This team has not and did not bottle it.

The argument is you were top for so long etc. Yes, this is true but Man City are a juggernaut they are a machine. They can sign a player of the quality of Kalvin Phillips and stick him on the bench. That is what you are up against.

Pep has 18 to 19 players that are Microsoft-like plug-ins and play. HE can have a player of the year like Riyad Marhez and De Bruyne on the bench.

I am proud of the lads and the season they have had. Arsenal has shown they're first 11 can compete. Let's build from here and get a squad of 16 players minimum who are plug in and play. #COYG

Yesterday's matches showed that Man City deserve to win the League imo.

Arsenal have done really well to have competed with them for so long, hopefully Arteta can add a bit more depth to his squad next season.

Totally agree !

They have massively over achieved given their position last season and the squad being so young .

I’m still clinging onto a desperate hope thst Arsenal win their remaining games and City lose theirs … after they are mentally crushed by Real Madrid (again)!

Arsenal have been a joy to watch this season. I do think the pressure got to them though because their performance levels dropped off in April.

However, people have short memories, it's not that long ago that Pep was shouting at his team for being lazy and not turning up for matches as they should

I think the rot started when the fabulous Partey got injured and missed the crucial first game against City … he hasn’t been the same since .. neither have Arsenal

Soon after they lost their key defender in Saliba then Zinchenko struggled with a calf injury for the last few weeks ( and it showed ) ..

Similar thing happened to Arsenal when they lost Varane and Martinez.. and Casemiro missing key games

yeah, it killed Man U's season. They just don't have the depth of squad to keep the levels consistent.

I can only presume that they will make substantial improvements over the summer ..

I actually like watching their style of play more than any other team ( including Barca ) ..

Shame they all kinda looked jaded .. especially Saka , Martinelli and Partey

That’s just a young team/squad burnt out isn’t it!?

They have lost two vital players in Saliba and Zinchenko … Partey has apparently been carrying some injury .. Saka and Martinelli have gone off the boil

those players are very young guys who haven't even been involved in europe over april/may so if one game a week burns them out, i would be getting rid of them
