"Robots" and AI can only do and say things to which they have been programmed. It's an easy thing to say, to suggest that nothing with the capability of killing should be given AI, but as far as I know some military drones and sentry weapons implement AI.
As long as no-one’s stupid enough to give them complete autonomy, and they make sure there are multiple (remote!) kill-switches.
