Yeah, it is. There’s frightening in ordinary life/watching a gruesome horror film and then there’s being held hostage in a cell with someone who’s having a mixed-manic episode. You’re not even trying to go there in this life, not if you value your safety.

the reason they build lots of prisons in the usa is that they are all privately owned and they get paid per prisoner. It's all about money

Prisons have replaced the slave trade for lots of corporate America. They work their inmates on projects for cents each day.

Bots was completely correct about the corporate nature of justice, and the prison system shows they're not about rehabilitation, they're about full occupancy.
