Default The benefits of one nomination

I know a lot are against one nomination but it certainly changes the game and too much power with one group.

With only one nomination there is less likely to be two from one group up against each other and more like one from each side once a divide occurs.

For example; say Kerry, Olivia, Paul, Jenkin, Tom, Hallie, Matty, Zak all nominated Trish and Henry. Then Trish and Henry would get 8 nominations each and would be up, regardless of how everyone else voted.

But with one nomination, say those same 8 only 6 used their vote on Trish and 2 on Henry. Chances are another housemate from the bigger group would pick up more than 2 noms so would be up against Trish.

….hmmm, I’m not sure how I feel about the one vote if it continues….I quite like that second ‘random vote’ which sometimes feels like a wild card vote if they’re struggling for a second person…also, if groups do form, housemates might more ‘pack vote’ just because that might feel like an easier/safer option…if one person has more bitching aimed at them in a group for instance, housemates in that group might feel the safe option target is a good one…?…

…I’ve actually forgotten how this stuff works tbh, I’m out of the BB loop…

I'd not thought of it like that but it does make sense in that it may stop the bigger group picking on the smaller group and that is probably a good thing for the long run

The pack vote thing though is better if one nomination. They’d target 2 people and those 2 people would be up. This way they can only pack vote one person. So the other smaller group could pack vote one from the bigger group meaning one from each is up for eviction. Does that make sense?

…yeah, it does make sense…❤️…and in thinking about it, I think that one vote might stop any block voting/group voting from happening because with just one vote…?…I think that it might be less likely to be used tactically and more from the heart for someone that a housemate has maybe clashed with or is an annoyance etc…

Didn't BB Aus have a point system to combat this? So 10 people's 2nd, lesser choice of housemate wouldn't go up over 6 people's first choice.
