Default Weddings or birthday parties?

How do you prefer to celebrate with the people you love (in terms of what you prefer/most-enjoy? Weddings and supreme bridal-groom arrangements (including hens/stags) or good-ol. b’day bashes?

Option one can be the case if you love the idea of weddings/parties/people you know and love having a great time but, I dunno, maybe you’re a little socially anxious or very small-group bound when it comes to socialising (or maybe it’s your goal to lose weight/deal with an embarrassing body issue before you can wear a nice wedding suit) so you step back physically from weddings and big parties a little unless you really have to be there. And a lot of the time people will understand that.

I wonder when you’re going to stop being sexist.

For your sake I just hope you have a catalogue of days more memorable than your own wedding. At this rate it sounds like an obscure Gaelic football team scoring on a wet Sunday might do it for you.

Never been to a wedding so it would have to be a birthday party.

It depends on who it is for.

I find weddings not my thing.
The cynic in me leaves me wondering how long will the marriage last in these times.
The whole format of a wedding I don't like.

Birthday parties are okay.

I don't really like Parties.
I like going out for meals in smaller groups.

I love Christmas get-togethers more though.

Default Weddings or birthday parties?

I don’t do parties / weddings / celebrations/ fetes / circuses/ pantomimes/ get togethers ..

I do some funerals out or respect … if I did like and respect them
