I don't like equating simply changing up your accent to being 'fake' in the sense of crafting an entire persona...

But having said that, I did enjoy the other day during the shopping task when he tried too hard at the poshness and pronounced 'ant' as 'aunt' lol. Sounded like a right twat, I have to admit.

It just seems ironic that she expects others to stop immediately when she is annoyed, yet she ignores others when they request the same. Just a bit hypocritical, and maybe that’s what Tom is responding to. I don’t think he is a bully or worse - I just think that he’s lost patience with Hallie and her behaviour.

It’s not even just the accent thing at this point, the whole forced ‘I have no emotions’ thing is just so painfully transparent that it’s gone past being amusing, everything he does is calculated to come across a certain way, but things are starting to slip

Hallie is too wrapped up in herself to recognise her own faults….and she takes every opportunity to make a mountain out of a molehill to draw attention to herself.

As much as he sounded like a prat tonight, Tom did the bizarre thing of actually acting like a normal human being during tonight's show. No self-help guru, new age, 'your feelings are valid' BS in the wake of a little tiff, like most of the other HMs do. No, the little guy actually kept up the hostility for more than a minute and didn't apologise or try to be diplomatic. Not an admirable thing in itself, but on a reality show, it's to be commended imo.
