Hello, and welcome to the official TiBB Fan-Made Eye Competition 2008!

That's right, TiBB's official fan-made eye competition from the same people that run the banner competitions is back for a second run.

I won last year's competition with the nice blue and pink eye which you see here...



...and this year, I'm back as the host of the competition!

It is now time for you to submit your entries for this year's contest.

You can submit a maximum of two eyes for the competition. In addition, you may submit up to two promotional graphics per eye to accompany/enhance/support your eye, however these will NOT be included in the final heats. You can read a full list of rules below.

On Friday 25th April, the entries thread will close and the eyes will be randomly split into a number of heats. The heats will then be posted on TiBB and you can vote for your favourites. The top two eyes from each heat will make it through to the final, and the eye that gets the most votes in the final will take the title of TiBB's Fan-Made Eye 2008 - and its creator will get a shiny TiBB award!

Rules
* Only two eyes per member will be accepted.
* Only two pieces of accompanying material(s) can be posted per eye.
* Only eyes that are posted in this thread will be eligible for the contest.
* All members are eligible to take part.
* You may change your entries before the entries thread closes. You must make it clear in the thread that you are doing so.
* Entries will close on Friday 25th April. After this date, no new entries will be accepted, nor can any submissions be changed.

Yes, provided that link is to a different thread specifically about your eye. If you mean post two images in the thread and link to more images, it doesn't count.

I didnt know how to get them up like Matt did with the links - all i know is that if you put the image code off photobucket it works lol x

Just a quick note:

The larger your eyes are, the better - 500x300 would be the smallest size I'd recommend

You should be fine if you use the templates posted by myself and Nicky above

Should you maybe sort the entries into groups, as some people only have abitity to paint and other get to use photoshop or gimp (Who are probably almost sure too win) and then a group for people with photofitre/photoplus and one for animations ect?

I just think it might make the comp a bit fairer

1. I will not be grouping the entries based on what they were made in. This has never been done in any of the banner competitions and I don't plan to do it to this.

2. I've decided that eye animations are only allowed among the supporting graphics.

3. The award will not actually be that shiny
