Leeds are in a similar position/situation and play a similar high energy game .. year after year they show so much promise ( as Spurs did earlier in the season but always fall away - clearly exhausted

Spurs have literally only had the PL to focus on pretty much all season, bar 2 FA Cup ties 5 months ago. No excuses. They've been extremely poor this year.

It seems crazy to learn that Thiago Silva os leaving Chelsea in a few weeks given that everyone seems to feel that they have invested far too much in inexperienced / unproven players !

They also sold Havertz and Christiansen last summer .

Christiansen has been a revelation this season playing as the holding midfielder…

Oddly enough he has just scored a worldly for Barca ( on ViaPlay ) … a fantastic chest trap then volleyed into the bottom corner !!

Oh I'm not saying that he is a bad Manager.

But he does need to start adapting, especially if he wants to be seen as a top Manager.

Maybe he just needs more players who are better suited to his style ?

I think the midfield needs some fine tuning plus the keeper maybe .. also I can see him moving Son on after his woeful displays this season.. it looks like Kane was making him look better than he really is OR he’s just not suited to this style of play

Well we know what we've got to do in English League One next season.

Son tbf is in a very mediocre Tottenham side in my view.

Like you've said, the midfield in general just needs a shakeup at the club, and they do need to get a striker in my view, plus a world class Center Back.

Just wondering if Adam Wharton has a chance of making the England squad for the euros ?

He’s been fabulous each time I’ve seen him play for Palace

am excited regarding the Germany squad for the euros

they have potential to do well again i feel

with the likes of all the Leverkusen stars: Jonathan Tah, Robert Andrich, Florian Wirtz

the comeback of Toni Kroos

some decent stuttgart talents: Maximillian Mittelstadt, Waldemar Anton, Deniz Undav, Chris Fuhrich

also Robin Koch, decent frankfurt talent and not to forget Jamal Musiala

very good experience in Thomas Muller, Ilkay Gundogan, Marc-Andre Ter Stegen, Bernd Leno, Joshua Kimmich, Antonio Rudiger,

top coach in Nagelsmann

difficult choices to be made because you also have the likes of Gnabry, Emre Can, Mats Hummels, Nico Schlotterbeck, Leroy Sané, Timo Werner, Leon Goretzka who all weren't called up last international game

Darwin Núńez looks to be paving the way for an exit ( probably to Barcelona ! )

Darwin Nunez storms down the Anfield tunnel following win over Spurs - as Liverpool star continues to be linked with a summer exit after also deleting club pics from his Instagram

The 24-year-old deleted photos of himself affiliated with Liverpool from his Instagram profile on Sunday evening, with new footage from the stadium showing him walking straight down the tunnel at full-time.

All that remains on Nunez' Instagram profile that boasts 4.2million followers are family pictures and snaps of the striker playing for former club Benfica and Uruguay.

Luis Suárez has already sent message to Barcelona !!

West Ham United can confirm David Moyes will leave the Club by mutual consent at the
end of the 2023/24 season, when his contract expires.

Oddly enough Stuart Pearce predicted that Liverpool would beat Spurs 5:1 and I thought he’d banged his head or something

( it was 4:2 of course but a brave prediction after the way Liverpool has been playing

That's definitely not the worst guess in the world from Stuart Pearce.
