How it started:
Olly Alexander vowed to represent “fly the flag for the UK in the gayest way possible” and “put on an unforgettable performance” at the contest in Malmo, Sweden How its going: Olly Alexander found out the public had awarded him null points. The 33-year-old represented the UK with his track Dizzy, and while votes from the jury appeared positive on Saturday night (11 May), the singer sadly received no points from the public.

The UK only got 9 votes from the public last year and only 15 from the juries. The UK is not in the bottom 3 this year The UK didn't get no points at all. The UK with probably only a couple of exceptions is usually in the bottom 3. Far less votes than in the 40s too. It's not a good result but it's far better than you and others in the media predicted. I never expect a really good result for the UK no matter who represents us. The UK is seen negatively worldwide on many issues and therefore gets overlooked in competitive voting circles. |

Countries that gave Israel 🇮🇱 10+ points in #Eurovision2024 👇
The entire people of Europe 🇪🇺 are against the pro-Palestinian Jihadist mob. They deserve better leaders who reflect their voices. https://x.com/DrEliDavid/status/1789544637700424135 |

That's not a political statement either - it just a basic understanding of the vote and statistics. |

The Gulf regions of Asia + the Middle East will be more pro-Palestine. I would also guess that chunks of Africa would also be more pro-Palestine. And the Americas I will guess are more pro-Israel. I'm sorry for the longwinded post, I was just wondering if anyone thinks that my guesswork is close to the mark?
