I did something similar trying to impress 2 girls by waving to the old people looking out the windows of an old folks home..bloody walked face 1st into a lamppost.

Not school but 16-year-old me tried playing big for my boots in Costco one time when the shop-assistant asked if I wanted to try some of their cornflake-recipe they had on-aisle when I was supervising my then-little cousin (who had a sample). “I’m just here to watch her,” I said, trying to sound mature. But to this day I think about how rude that was and so unnecessarily so.
