Not eaten for days. No water either. It could be as simple as he tripped over a stone, fell head first into a big sink hole. You never know.

That said, I was watching Talk (TV) radio on YouTube and someone on the island said Mosley told people on the beach he felt ill and was going to walk home. First time I heard that.

You can apparently live happily enough for 3+ weeks without food but only 3 days without water ..

They should just be looking for vultures ( or similar scavengers) !!


When a human or other mammal body is starting to fail, the body exudes (primarily through breathing) smells (chemicals) that vultures are able to interpret as a sign of imminent death.
