You don't think the legal and cultural components of the country she's from are in any way relevant or important here? She was assigned female and thus raised female because once assigned female, there was no option but to do so. Like I said the waters have been badly muddied for actual intersex individuals - which is an extremely rare condition - by the insistence that it's in some way related to transgenderism (which it isn't).

In short this is a rare case where someone has indeed been born female and raised female but is in fact biologically male and thus has the sporting advantages that come with male puberty. Biologically female people can gain those advantages, with combinations of drugs and hormones - but this would not be allowed in almost all sports.

So the question has nothing to do with the usual trans debate and is a totally separate one surrounding what might or might not be considered an unfair competitive advantage for people who are genuinely intersex, a totally valid and probably important discussion, but totally lost in base gender politics.

…yeah, bib is what I feel as well, that the relevant factor and focus is…is she an ‘advantaged athlete’…and atm, I’m not really sure of that because of her fight completion losses as well as yesterday’s ’controversial win’…

..some intersex people do have ovaries, a uterus, and a vagina, and can get pregnant…it’s very individual to the person, so I wouldn’t say or assume her to be biologically male…
