Default Only 83 male spaces left in England and Wales Prisons

Mark White just reported.

I guess send some up to Scotland Prisons
for Now.

PM Starmer is not happy with this.

[The figure, first reported by the Telegraph,
is the closest the system has come to
running out of places amid
an ongoing crisis in the sector.]

I guess they'll just have to let the dangerous criminals walk free, oh wait ...they already do that .

They could do the sensible thing and change all of the non-violent criminals to non-custodial sentences i.e. appropriate restrictions on other activity and curfews.

No reason at all for people who aren't a risk to others. There's a distinct lack of imagination in the system IMO. e.g. those guilty of incitement via social media etc, whack them with a 9pm curfew and a lengthy ban on using the internet for anything other than official purposes (e.g. benefits claims and banking). If they get caught using social media then large fines. If they continue, THEN prison.

And stop putting people in cells for ridiculous stuff like minor benefit fraud or council tax evasion . The cost is ridiculous.

Scottish prisons are pretty much full too. They have been for 6+ months, long before the riots etc.

I mean I guess you could just send them to the highlands, give them a croft or something... but we'd need a way to stop them walking back to the M6.

OR we could put them all in Falkirk and build some sort of wall or dome...

there is space for 300 in the migrant barge, there are plenty army barracks around that could be used. I don't think there is any issue with space, i think the problem is with staff numbers

Hence the dome, Bots, they shall police themselves. We'll implement trackers and a fleet of drones with cameras, for a panopticon effect. Monthly there shall be a PURGE NIGHT when all of the cameras are turned off for 12 hours. In the morning we shall turn the trackers back on, and check vital signs to find out how many we've culled.

The government do a sensible thing? ...I won't hold my breath, but I agree .

Makes you wonder how many are just filling up space with minor / petty crimes.

With todays tech, non violent criminals can be subject to house arrest. It's a simple, low cost solution
