It was down to the Housemates. They had to choose who was next in order to smash a portrait and, once two portraits were left, they were the head of house.

Definitely has the wif of BB manipulation of the process. Something that's seems to becoming more and more common in there attempts to shove certain odious characters down peoples throats.

It's certainly not going to boost Marcello's mood. He would have almost certainly gone for Ali but now realises nobody picked him to go next and must be feeling somewhat unpopular. I guess it's quite thought provoking for him. I think we'll see a change in his behaviour from now on possibly.

The was nothing manipulative of fix about it. It was a fair process. They got to pick the next person and smash what ever window they wanted.

There were 2 people that didn't smash a portrait.

To me it's a bit like picking team members from a line up, they were the last to be picked by any hm

None of the housemates picked him to go after them, and it was probably something to do with the timing of the argument with Ali that had just happened. It was more than obvious who he could have chosen to smash, so choosing him would be essentially like smashing Ali's portrait yourself. If they had come back and chosen him it may have looked like they were trying to target Ali so they decided to avoid choosing him.

It was a messy system,and Marcello was set up and done dirty . The order of the housemates getting picked and actually choosing who they smash ,meant if 1 housemates were still there...they had to be winners,which so happened to be Ali & Dean , only because other housemates focused on smashing other housemates either because they thought they'd be a rubbish HOH or they were threatened by them.

I had a feeling Ali would win ,I think she has sneakily got influence as her manipulative skills have worked. Well hope this all backfires on her and Dean as it's a poisonous chalice.
