The fear-mongering all round in this election cycle has been absolutely insane. Don't get me wrong - I think Trump and cronies will absolutely do some further social damage - but if you were to believe EITHER sides campaigning, I can see why people panic. For some a Trump win is Handmaid's Tale, the fall of NATO and Russia marching out to conquer Europe. And for the other side, a Harris win would have been a tidal wave of trans immigrants sweeping across the US, and the blood-drinking deep state paedophiles canceling all future elections.

In reality the world turns like a oil tanker not a speed boat. Remember; Trump didn't even build his wall. That was his entire 2016 platform.

The BBC is so out of touch, was watching last night and one of the commentators was talking about how interested she was to find how many high up republicans would be voting democrat to ensure the republican party could move to another direction when they lose.
