No I'm not, because anti Semitism completely exists and is actually on the rise. I'm not implying anything because it's 100% clear that this Jewish organisation have made up some of the anti Semitism it has faced, and to score political points against a politician they don't like.

Norwegian Football Association Refuses to Play Against Israel in World Cup Qualifiers

The Norwegian Football Association has announced its refusal to compete against the Israeli national team in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers for Europe, citing the ongoing genocide committed against millions of Palestinians since October 7, 2023.

The French channel E24 News published statements from Klaveness regarding the qualifying draw, which placed Norway alongside Israel, Estonia, Moldova, and the loser of the Germany-Italy quarter-final in the European Nations League.

Klaveness expressed her solidarity with the Palestinian cause, stating: “The Football Association supports the Norwegian government's stance and demands an immediate halt to Israeli attacks on innocent civilians in Gaza.” She added, “None of us can remain indifferent to the ongoing atrocities in Gaza.”

The Norwegian national team is scheduled to play its matches against Israel on 25 March and 11 October. However, the association’s decision to boycott raises uncertainty about whether these fixtures will proceed.

I couldn't care who gets more credit for it, Biden, Trump or both.
Or the teams working to get in from Israeli sources and Palestinian ones too.

The fact there's any agreement to halt the conflict and give even a small chance of hope for the future is what is most welcome.

Biden couldn't find his arse in the dark with both hands. It might have been his administration that helped bring this about but it was probably easier to do if Biden kept out of it. Of course, the threat of Trump wouldn't have hindered it.

Reading between the lines I think it's actually Israel he's taken a hard line with (behind the scenes) - there's a clip where he talks about hostages and how not releasing them would be bad for Hamas and then adds "For everyone, actually" or something like that. That's not an accident he knows what he's doing. I despise Trump's politics but have had to accept that he is unfortunately not stupid, he's clever and manipulative and picks his words carefully, his "rambling speeches" are a meticulously planned out piece of theatre.

To add to that - I'm not saying he hasn't taken a hard line with Hamas, but I think it'll have changed less from what it already was than the rhetoric with Israel.

Trump is transactional, that's just simply what makes him tick. He will have done deals with israel and palestine to further his own interests. There are a million ways where america did this in the past, like the way they handled iraq. They bomb it into oblivion and then get awarded all the construction contracts to rebuild it. They have repeated that formula around the world and its really not much different to China providing loans to 3rd world countries
