I'd never ever go on Facebook.
It was totally vile before, so will be even worse now likely.
Some truly horrible people on there.

I was on twitter once many years ago now for a few weeks.
Stopped being on instantly really, hated the place.

I don't think social media really does much positive at all.
Blatant lies and misleading information should never be the norm.
It's hard enough working out what's really accurate and true these days without having to contend with people blatantly lying publicly too, and being allowed to, or not properly checked out and it dealt with.

A month ago, Trump was threatening Zuckerberg with jail, so it's no surprise he has taken this action. He wants to keep his influence and his billions.

I know enough and for me it is that I'll avoid really vile places like Facebook and what is now X.
I've never been a supporter or regular poster on either anyhow.
They're not needed in my life so they are not in any way a loss to my life in the slightest.

i'm with Joey, i de-activated my X and facebook accounts a while ago and I haven't missed them. People are able to lie and cheat and hold their own views, but trusting tech that watches what you do and then feeds you stories is not a life i personally choose
