It's just more evidence, IF any more was needed that trusting in Trump is extremely unwise.

Although to be a bit fairer to Trump, he NEVER actually promised or guaranteed Starmer anything at all on his visit to the White House.

All Trump repeatedly said, was he THINKS this or that could be worked through, and he THINKS deals could be done.
He never actually said yes to anything, except the nauseating invitation of another (UNNECESSARY), state visit to the UK.

I'm really getting tired of Starmer and most of the Labour cabinet, playing a yes sir, no sir, three bags full sir crawling attitude to Trump and his awful set up as to his team.

and now rescind the state visit invitation, I think Charlie will cite ill health and it will be moved multiple times until he is out of office

Thing as I don't think this is necessarily wrong; you can't take any of these figures and percentages seriously at all at the moment, they're instating/removing/reinstating them constantly, the clear INTENT is marketplace chaos, anything that's said might be reduced, increased or removed entirely tomorrow.

I agree its not necessarily wrong, because they are in trade talks with the US but who knows how long that will drag on
