So what's that roofed structure on the right? The last garden had a seating area there but it was open to the elements apart from a canopy.

Presumably this will double as the equivalent of the Mezzanine where a group can sneak away to gossip and bitch.

I'm shocked at everyone's negativity towards this. Yes the aesthetic is largely the same, but I'd say its considerably bigger and we're gaining natural sunlight straight into the house again, which is a big change. A lot of the budget would have been swallowed up by the move and necessary structural changes due to the change in location. We'll get more changes for civilian, which, historically, is what we used to get on Channel 4.

I think this is a great change, the interior links directly to the exterior, there is more room for the garden and it isn't crowded by warehouses, even better, it is no longer just off of the main road, which means its further away from the outside world
