[Big Brother winner Nadia Almada
has insisted that she'd 'rather refuse
treatment than wake up on a male ward'
as she slammed what she deemed a
'terrifying' Supreme Court transgender
ruling on Friday's episode of Good Morning Britain.
The 48-year-old, who is a transgender woman,
shot to fame after winning the
fifth series of Big Brother UK in 2004.

On Thursday she appeared on the ITV show
to discuss how The Supreme Court recently
announced that the definition of a woman
is based on biological sex in a landmark judgement.]
