Actually they tell them but they better not open their mouths too big. And they are hidden for 3 weeks long, the housemates and Davina already said that many times.

Exactly also why waste their money in paying to put them somewhere just so they dont see the eye yes i get that they cant no other housemates and we cant no who they are which we dont! and the best way of keeping a secret is to NOT tell ANYONE therefore if the final 50 haven't been told yes your in and no your not then knowone can leak anything coz they have nothing to go on. I do belive they in their own heads have chosen who they are putting on the show but truely do not think the housemate no who they are yet!

here is davina last year on the paul o'grady show and she CLEARLY says that 1 week before they STILL had not chosen the final line up they had a shorlist but NOT a final line up!

To the best of my knowledge they are NOT in hiding yet.

here is a link about last year and it says they have been in hiding the last 2 weeks NOT 3! so next week sometime would be about right

i also found the followin on another forum i think it varies every year as to when housemates go into hiding. urm why did my last thing post 3 times? x soz

It's hard to know when they went into hiding. Every year people are saying that they go into hiding two weeks before, but during BB5 Michelle said she didn't go into hiding until two days before the launch. Last year, Nikki also said she went into hiding two days before. Also, I remember Grace telling Lisa that she was in the hotel room next to her and could hear her talking and laughing really loudly. They both said they went into hiding a week before.

It's also hard to know what they are allowed to do and what they have access to when they're in hiding. I mean, all of the BB5 housemates knew about the evil theme. Marco and Emma were talking about the whole evil thing on launch night.
