With Mbuemo leaving for Man Utd, I am wondering if Brentford are getting prepared for relegation this season?

This coming season is gonna be a blast !!

Liverpool and City have already improved immeasurably and both look as though they will be playing more entertaining football

Hopefully Wrexham won't get too exciting this season.

This is our Championship season.

But I do agree with you that all of those teams are looking sharper compared to last season.

Well they bought the brilliant Zubamendi who Pep and City were desperate to get … sounds lile they are getting another brilliant midfielder in Norgaard …

i think we will need a few weeks of the new season to see how the new lineups gel as teams. Getting better players doesn't necessarily mean the team is better over all. Look at PSG etc from the past. Also, its a law of diminishing returns, once you have a good team, it may cost a huge amount of money to make it a small step forward

If they can get a striker then I might re-evaluate Arsenal's chances this season.

They have given him a 3 year deal with an option to extend !!

Holy Moly !!!

Why on earth didn’t they give him 6 months or 1 year deal ????

Exactly.

I hope that Brentford's risk pays off (as I do love a risk,) but I personally see this venture ending in disaster.

I don't share their confidence going by the contract signed.

Being From Ireland I'm obviously delighted to see an Irish manager back in the premiership and really hope he succeeds but there's no doubt Brentford are taking a huge risk with his appointment, The fact has Andrews has no previous managerial experience is a worry, fingers crossed he'll do well

On a positive

New: Arsenal sign midfielder Norgaard from Brentford ( captain) on an initial two-year contract.

Norgaard is technically good with a very nasty streak !!

Oddly Arsenal took on Gabriel Heinz today as an assistant coach - he was also nasty !!
