And now that Israel’s influence is finally failing, because the world can now see what they are and what they do in plain sight, the propaganda smears about Corbyn won’t work again no matter how much the bought and paid for media and government officials try

It will be interesting to see how it all starts to unfold.
I'd doubt being a stronger left Party that the media will NOT be falling over jumping to give them much of airtime, like they're doing with the awful Farage's Reform lot.
Who are like birds mess at present, as to being all over by the media.

I'll wait and see what they say and plan as to any policymaking.
Plus what effect it has on the current set up in Labour too, who I think will unwisely ignore how much support Corbyn could still gather.

Especially among younger and newer voters definitely.

Leading Corbynites have vowed to stay in Labour rather than join a new hard-Left party.

Zarah Sultana, an MP, announced on Thursday night that she had resigned from the party to set up a new one with Jeremy Corbyn.

But on Friday morning, John McDonnell and Diane Abbott both told The Telegraph they would not be signing up.

Politico reported that “Real Change” had been mooted as a possible name for the new
movement but nothing had been decided.

He brought about a shocker in 2017, written off by all, on here even thought of as a joke only.
I was stunned at the response on the doorstep being favourable to him in the 2017 election.
Then just 20 more seats could have seen him in Downing street.
He is a divisive figure no doubt but people who listen to him, like the vast majority of what he says.

This will be very different as he and Sultana won't have a big Party machine behind them.
However in the current domestic and international climate of events with politics in a state of more disillusionment and confusion.

Well, who knows what could result from this move because at the very least, he and Sultana and any others they attract, are going to be able to push a firmer left policy message that isn't being done at present by ANY other Party effectively.

i'm all for having choice and variety, and like has been said before all the current political parties don't have very differing views. I also think that the mess that the world is in at the moment amplifies views on the fringes, so we will just have to wait and see. In normal times I would say that Corbyn has had his day, but who really knows

Reform is proof a new party with a controversial leader on an extreme political spectrum can work. People don't want middle men flopping from one side to the other with no backbone to make decisions that actual illicit change. I can't say I am a fan of JC economic ideas (or at least the ones he has last time he was up for election which I imagine won't have changed much) but I'd take a far left party over a far right one led by a bigot.

Corbyn and his cronnies are just as bigoted as anything on display from the worst of reform, it's just their targets that are different. Quite honestly, i would rather have someone that is dithering but prepared to change course than someone hell bent on an action no matter the consequences

Firstly, I personally don't believe either of those to be true.

Nigel Farage would likely make my marriage illegal should he come to power, so explain why would I think him as my preferred choice?

The UK is not a safe nor a comfortable place for Jews. God forbid if Corbyn and Sultana ever get near No10, there will be a mass exodus. Of course, that'll suit the far Left just fine.

Hi BBXX, I myself rather liked a lot of Corbyn's policies certainly as to nationalisation of gas, electricity, water and railways.
Which were incredibly popular in the election campaign of 2017 particularly.
I'd guess they'd be still and even moreso now.

That's a good strong post you've made above and as to your last line, I 100% agree with that.

Oh and ditto to agreeing with this post too as to Corbyn.

It's clear too that Farage is probably going to look for division on other rights people have fought hard to get too now.
He just divisively and destructively soils things in my view, in his eagerness to try to divide and conquer.
I have never ever liked or trusted him.
In fact in my view he's even worse now than he was around the EU referendum period.

In a social media post, Sultana said the Government is “an active participant in genocide” in Gaza and highlighted growing poverty, Labour’s position on welfare, and the cost of living as reasons for establishing her new party.

“Labour has completely failed to improve people’s lives. And across the political establishment, from Farage to Starmer, they smear people of conscience trying to stop a genocide in Gaza as terrorists. But the truth is clear: this Government is an active participant in genocide. And the British people oppose it.”

In fact, a majority of Britons (55 per cent) do not view Israel’s actions as genocidal, according to the latest YouGov poll, but pro-Palestinian fanatics have never been very good with facts.

Given half the chance, they would impoverish us in their communist quest for a more
“equal” society and would revel in our immiseration, believing that we must pay for the
sins of empire.

Sultana describes Farage as a “grifter”. Yet in her and Corbyn we have the ultimate pair
of political fraudsters, purporting to represent the many when, in fact, they are simply a
mouthpiece for a vocal minority of deranged zealots.

He should've named it "Left Wing Party". That way when people voted for it, it would be obvious to everyone else what the vote was for and it might actually have impact from it.
