Default Back from London

Hey all!

I visited London today, just for the day. Got a plan at like 8ish and I was back at half ten.

I went with my Religion class, to visit the V&A. But my and my mates just had a browse around the shops instead. BTW Harrods is pretty shite :L

It was my first time on a plane in eight years, so it was pretty fun.

Anyway, just thought I'd tell you cause it was my first time in London, or UK. So I was pretty excited. We tried to hitch a ride to Buckingham Palace by writing "Going to see herself" on a piece of cardboard, standing at the side of the road and sticking ar thumbs out. But no such look.

Off to catch up on the BB latest...

True, London is pretty overrated and is "the place to be" apparently.

Hope you had fun though Arneldo.

London's fantastic. I've only been twice, but I've loved it both times. Then again, I don't know a lot of it, and have only done sightseeing/gig-going

London is fantastic. One of the few cities in the world I have visited which has a real "buzz" to it.

It was pretty funny. People kept looking at us like he had seven heads. Their was some spansih tourists there aswell, so we gave them the sign and wished them luck.

The most embarresing thing about whole though - trying to find out way to Harrods. We were looking at this map on a bus stop trying to work out where we were, and how to get to Harrods. And these people kept looking at us. We just ignored them, until we realised why they were looking at us wierd - we were standing right outside Harrods

How can you say "word" if you've never been

Unless you're commenting on the country on the whole, in which case I still disagree

Little old Devon is lovely.

Oh, thank god we didn't

Also, we were trying to speak in Irish while we walked around - but we dont know any Irish ha ha So we just kept saying random words like "Is maith liom cailín bainne" which actually means "I like girl milk" which can be interpreted in something quite nasty, and disgusting ha ha

It was a good, but very very long day Me and my mates want to bo back for a few days during the summer.

Please don't, you're not selling London.

I've never been to London, but I'm hoping to go in the summer because I want to go to a BB9 eviction so it'll be my first time there, I just need to find someone to go with who is remotely interested in Big Brother.

I've been once or twice to see family down there, its alright but its nothing special. Some bad points is that its overrated, silly taxes like the congestion charge and its quite dirty. I also find that people in London tend to be more career orientated so they aren't as friendly.

I prefer it up north.

Not all parts are dirty. I live by Canary Wharf and it is spotless. No litter or anything.
