Its been confirmed legendary soap Brookside will return for a one of special crossover episode with Hollyoaks for its 30th anniversary.

So far the characters of Shelia Grant, Barry Grant and Billy Corkhill are confirmed to return and it will centre around the funeral of of Jimmy Corkhill who is said to have ties to the Village.

Brookside was a major reason for the birth of Hollyoaks.

Brookie was always my favourite soap,but when they started changing the times etc, I kept missing it ,I don't think I was the only one either, people just lost interest so if it comes back I do hope it has a set time and day.
