The attack on Peacehaven mosque was appalling; there is no place for anti-Muslim hate
in our society. My thoughts are with the whole community. Yesterday, I met with
community & religious leaders to offer support, alongside Jewish and Christian
representatives showing solidarity.



Over the past 3 years (2022‑2024), there were 9,148 recorded crimes at UK churches
including 3,237 incidents of criminal damage, vandalism and arson .
