ITV will never understand that you can't remove Housemates over words, without people rightly complaining about it.

There's only three acceptable reasons to warn/eject a BB Housemate.

1. If the Housemate gets physically violent.

2. If the Housemate were to threaten violence.

3. If the Housemate is harassing another Housemate.

Anything else is BB/ITV overreacting.
