Pasta, and all things pasta. Even pasta-tubs from the shop. It used to be cheese-and-tomato pasta for me on that latter note, but I’ve never been the biggest fan of cheese that isn’t melted or grated, so I switched to tomato-and-basil. Just that my local Morrisons seems to have stopped doing it, which is a shame.

What kind of water ??

There must only be minuscule traces of electrolytes in plain water presumably ?

Flavoured electrolyte water-enhancers. A trip to Aldi for them is long-overdue.

Zizu: I’m sure that partially answers your question.

The memory of being carried on the back of one polished auntie at a cultural function when I was 3. For a minute I was a photographable icon, that autumn-night. So cute.

I said polished and I meant what I said, without making a typo. It’s a sacred memory that I know the significance of and don’t want to over-explain. Let’s not unnecessarily make it something it’s not.

Kool-Aid and a bit of Drake and Josh. Takes me right back to the summer of ’07.

1. A bit of watermelon on the go, some RiRi (Umbrella) in the background. Guava somewhere in the air. Transports me right back to June ’07. Whether you’re actually on some beach in Hawaii or in front of the telly in the morning, on the dining-table, watching the news, the vibe is … well, a vibe. 2007-Rhianna always wins. She slays and she tropifies.
2. Ukwa (tropical African breadfruit) with oyster-sauce.

I like how Ali (from last year) is perfectly happy letting Elsa be in all her extra-terrestrial quirkiness and resists the collective urge to just label her as schizotypal, or worse. Smiles. Low-key smiles.

Speaking to Vodafone earlier as I wanted to reduce my plan as I don’t use much of what I pay for.

I’d seen the plan I wanted to go to - £10 a month for 27gb data (reducing down to 8gb after 3 months) and a few other benefits.

The lady I was speaking with tried to get me onto another plan (as they do). Her first offer was 30gb data a month for £25. I was like nope, I don’t use that much.

Her next offer was 10gb data for £16.50. Had to kindly point out that was a worse deal than the one I’d seen and told her about, so I’d pass.

Low key agreement on Ali (to my shock horror) and the resistance to rush to judgement on what Elsa claims.
