[Lord David Cameron's revelation that he was
diagnosed with and successfully treated for prostate cancer in 2022. The paper says the former prime minister was initially encouraged by his wife Samantha Cameron to get a prostate test after listening to a BBC radio interview. Lord Cameron now supports "targeted screening", the paper says.]

Yes Joey,
He had it last year And it is now gone, all due to his wife forcing him to do the blood test. But Labour is Slow The essential early PSA blood test, should be rolled out today. It will save the NHS money as they halt it. Google search: [If the PSA is more than 10, Then there is a chance of having prostate cancer] Symptoms Spoiler: Last edited by arista; 24-11-2025 at 01:05 PM. |

Sky reporting that prostate cancer effects 1 in 8 men … so 12.5% possibly effected
Also the test results throw up a good number of false results where the guys didn’t have cancer when a good amount of time and tests later you are found to be clear or negative The last thing I need being an anxious , pessimistic worrier is a letter saying there’s a chance I may have prostate cancer Those two factors are preventing me from getting screened … Last edited by Zizu; 28-11-2025 at 08:43 PM. |

I'm sure that Starmer will make it mandatory for every guy to have a screening soon, he is Authoritarian after all.
But yeah, well done on Cameron surviving Cancer I guess.

Years ago we never really heard that much about the dreaded C word in an advertising sense … then it was on occasionally on the radio or television suggesting that it effected 1 in 5 people (usually it was in a non smoking advert) … then over the years ( it seems ‘recent’ years ) the advertising said 1 in 4 … 1 in 3 etcetc
Nowadays - “ one in two people WILL definitely get CANCER ! “ gets rammed down our throats on an hourly basis Being a pessimistic, anxiety ridden individual it hurts me to my soul ! I never ever even considered death let alone a terrible way of dying and now sometimes I feel that it’s inevitable. Sorry for speaking like this .. I hope I haven’t upset or disrespected anyone … it was certainly not my intention Last edited by Zizu; Yesterday at 11:57 AM. |

Tbh Adverts are too extreme in either direction nowadays. They're either incredibly miserable, like the Cancer Adverts. Or they're talking really stupid nonsense like "pre-loved" because saying a product is either second-hand or refurbished is "offensive" to these weird people. ![]()
