Controversially I wonder if it is a method that people have to try nowadays to get anywhere with the Government? Not just in this country, but in other countries too?

Because the Government (no matter which country you're born in) doesn't listen to the public on anything, and maybe barring the MP's/Senators from places when they cross the line is a way to keep them in check?

Because tbf people do need to stand up from themselves from incompetent, corrupt, or simply evil Government decisions (depending on the severity of the policy) and maybe this is a necessary evil to benefit at least some of the people in the country?

I don't care about this, as I have said before, private business owner's should have freedom to serve who they want. However, I do think there is a distinct difference between banning a hateful individual (Tommy Fake Names) and an entire group of people but like I said, I believe business owners should have a choice.

Livia's idea of barring anyone who voted that way is an interesting idea. Maybe we should start doing that.

Let's start with anyone who voted Brexit. First we can all give them backdated invoices for how is effected the country financially and then between them they can house all the migrants they hate due to how Brexit caused channel-crossings to increase exponentially. Sounds great!

The way that I see it is how would you have the Pubs protest against the Government in a way where the Government would actually listen to them, and have the public on the Pubs side?

Because you disrupt sporting events, people go mad.

And the protests disrupt traffic, and people go mad over it again.

I would also argue that refusing to serve an MP who's apart of a Government that you personally believe is actively trying to destroy your livelihood isn't exactly the same as being discriminatory against regular people.

Tbh the feud between Labour and Reform supporters over the last year or two is petty between both sides from my experience. It's a case by case thing on who is in the right on a topic is probably the fairest way for me to describe the name calling and general mudslinging that both sides do towards each other.

But in my view if we started discriminatory banning supporters of the current Government because we think that the current Government sucks, then local businesses really would die out against the big corporations.

And most of the supporters of Labour don't even really like Starmer, they just don't like Tories or Reform which in fairness to them their Political views doesn't align with Reform's at all, and the Tories have only just come out of 15 years of mistreating people with their own disgusting policies.

So my point being, if you're a Labour supporter and you don't like Reform's policies, the Tories are currently incompetent, and Starmer/Labour is the closest to enacting their views (even with the controlling and borderline dictator conduct being a huge problem currently) then why should Labour voters be barred from a Pub just for simply following their own gut?
