You literally just did it again.

You put politicians “on a par” with rapists and murderers. That is the minimising. You do not need to say the word minimise for it to be what you are doing.

Rapists and murderers commit the crimes. They choose to do it. They are directly responsible.

Politicians making immigration decisions you hate are not the same thing. Even if you think the policy is bad. Even if you think it is reckless. Even if harm follows. That is still not morally equivalent to committing rape or murder.

Saying “they condone it by welcoming people in” is a massive leap. Most migrants do not rape or murder anyone. You are collapsing millions of people into the actions of a tiny minority to justify an extreme comparison.

That is why people are pushing back. Not because you are edgy. Not because you are brave. Because the logic is sloppy and the comparison is absurd.

You can hate immigration policy. Fine. Argue that.
But the moment you put lawmakers on the same level as rapists and murderers, you have lost all sense of proportion.
