If there's one thing I don't get, and this goes for Starmer and his association with Lord Ali.

Why do people who are already rich, why do they accept gifts from people like Epstein and Lord Ali???

We have Mandleson and his partner accepting (allegedly) minor loans to them , like Ł10,000 which is chicken feed to Mandleson. Starmer who is worth millions himself, accepting glasses and underpants and tie gifts from Lord Ali.

I have a job and get paid the average wage in a way. The idea someone would buy me glasses and underpants is just like wtf I would think that is totally weird.

Same with Andrew and his ex wife Fergie accepting minor gifts and money. Allegedly. Just beyond words

They're (probably, allegedly) accepting other kinds of ... minor ... gift, and the cash loans and gifts tie them to the brokers in a traceable way, which would implicate them if the brokers were brought down.

Lord Mandelson said he has resigned his membership of the Labour Party, saying he does not want to "cause further embarrassment" his links to the late convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

The latest release of files by the US Department of Justice show that Epstein made $75,000 (Ł55,000) to Mandelson.

Between 2003 and 2004, Epstein appears to have sent three separate $25,000 payments referencing Lord Mandelson.

Earlier on Sunday, Lord Mandelson said he had no record or recollection of receiving the sums and did not know whether the documents were authentic.

He had reiterated his regret for "ever having known Epstein" and for continuing his association following the disgraced financier's conviction, apologising "unequivocally to the women and girls who suffered".

Casey Wasserman's messages to Maxwell, sent in 2003, were among millions of files published by the US Department of Justice (DOJ) on Friday.
