I love Anne. She's relatable as a firey Texan woman. I see little difference between her and a proper southern bell. They don't come off feeling like they come from a place of classism, but rather that that person simply has class. Big difference.

When I was about 13 the whole school practically had to go out and stand on the school field and watch Andrew’s helicopter land (he was heading to some factory nearby for a tour or whatever it is they do when “Royals” visit).

We were all told to be on our best behaviour but loads of kids started flagging the helicopter and heckling him. Headteacher nearly had a coronary. We all collectively got in huge trouble after but, knowing what we know now.. good..

It really is striking how the palace refers to him as “Mr Mountbatten‑Windsor” in official statements. You forget sometimes that the King and Prince William are his own brother and nephew, because the tone of those releases is so cold. But then again, he’s been denying and deflecting for years, so it’s not surprising that the language has become formal and distant.

And honestly, the whole situation just highlights what a pair of grifters he and Fergie turned out to be.

they have been grifters now for a very long time. I believe that is why the public turned on them originally. People who have every privilege in the world, out to scam all they can get

William was right to be angry. Andrew could have brought down the monarchy and Harry isn't much better
