I bet if her actual husband or boyfriend asked for the key ,then they'd probably ask for ID and then refuse him. Even if they saw them together previously checking in.
I know It sounds facetious ,but always feels like the genuine innocent people who are really who they say they are , are the ones who get subjected to more security checks and scrutinised more than the scumbag creeps out there . But maybe it's just me . |

She certainly shouldn't have been handing out key cards to someone who hasn't been verified by the victim as someone that she (the victim) actually wants in her room.
