We just got another cold spell. One type of grass in my front lawn is trying to wake up, but this won't help lol. So I just mowed the Bahia that is properly growing because I got tired of waiting and trimmed up everything nicely so that's been a delight. Because we really only have warm grasses, some need higher soil temps to wake up which I guess is the case for that Bermuda. We hit 85 (29C) yesterday but today is a high of 55 (12c) which is really annoying... the wind overnight blew away all the petals of all but one flower from a new bush that was given to me for future planting, but I figure it'll grow back as there's still empty buds.

Thanks. He is 12, maybe 13yo. I have him wrapped up in my lap getting toasty because he was just outside.

The son is my neighbor's child. Though I would certainly not mind a second child...
He and his dad have built a shed and recently he updated the windows in the front of their house. Something I'm not sure I'm brave enough to do but may practice on the bathroom window. The most I might do is update the fascia before we get a new roof put in. He may be in his 20s by now. These skills are important to have especially in an era of lack of affordability, it helps to be able to keep things going on your own without hiring someone.
The bed has been amazing

She's doing tons of stretchies across it and using the trim to do other creative laying/flopping(?) over the bed (which is fine). She has a few bruises on her legs from running and jumping into the bed lol. Has made reading time much easier, but because it's so comfortable I have trouble getting up sometimes...
